Last change of the day! Coming thick and fast right now as players are discovering issues here and there, naturally.

This hotfix introduces more common sense rules to the AI's attitude to diplomacy, with more extreme reactions with regards to hostile agent actions, but greater rewards if marriages and trade ties occur between daimyo. It also counteracts the rather gentle Realm Divide penalty (vs. vanilla) with greater penalties elsewhere, such as being allied to a daimyo that is at war with another will cause that other daimyo to view you in a much less favourable light.

Small bug fix regarding positive attitudes from all clans if the player gives away a hostage

Opdatering: 20. maj 2024 kl. 13:42

- Increased all non-ranged units' melee defence to prolong combat and allow for more decision making
- Very slight increase to bow damage, counteracted by reduction in ammunition
- Reduced all arquebus unit morale by -1 to exacerbate their functionality on the battlefield as "glass cannon"
- Yari ashigaru receive global scaled morale bonuses if the player or AI own Christian or Buddhist religious buildings (these can stack!)
- Clan specific units recruitment time halved (should result in the AI creating more unique clan specific armies)
- Realm Divide should not cause long term, stalwart alliances to break

Increased unit recruitment times to ensure decisive battles feel decisive. During the Sengoku Jidai, oftentimes 1 or 2 battles could determine the fate of a clan. FCS attempts to simulate this.
