- Added new images to many of the new Age of Objectives, all of which are basically snippets of relevant historical art

- Added three new age abilities 'elephant warfare', 'arquebus' and 'zamburaks'.

- Added age objective for Europeans to have a Habsburg on the throne during Age of Gunpowder Empires

- Nerfed the Sirhind starting ruler by -1/-1/-2 (to in effect nerf Delhi)

- Buffed the dev of Diu by +2/+2/+1 to represent its importance during the period

- Reduced the institution spread penalty in Glaciers and Himalayas from -75% to -50%.

- Farang Guns can now start in 1545 (five years earlier, this is a test)

- Figured out how to better compress as .dds images so recompressed the institution images

- Added image for Age of Maritime Expansion (detail from the Piri Reis Map)

- Added image for Age of Gunpoweder Empires

- Added image for Age of Absolutism (Emperor Qianlong depicted as the boddhisatva Manjushri)

- Added a Rajput regiments age objective for Indian tags.

- Added age ability for extra rajput regiments

- Nerfed the insanely good Ethiopian starting ruler by -1/-1/-1

- Buffed the Adal starting ruler by +1/+1/+1

- Buffed Afghan starting ruler by +1/+0/+2

- Made Afghanistan historical rival of Timurids and Delhi

- Changed the age objective Global Trade from Cloves to Spices

- Changed one of the institution spread modifier for Global Trade institution from Cloves to Spices

- Added a new Diplomatic Action to play as a Colony, without releasing it from the overlord. For some reason this was not an option in the vanilla base game. Now you can roleplay as a colony in the Americas and fulfill an age objective in the process.

- Added a new Decision to play EIC for if you regret not doing so from the Missions.



- Added regional versions of 'Regional Hegemony' Age Objective to multiple regions. Most regions should now have their own version of 'Regional Hegemony' during the 'Age of Gunpowder Empires', listed underneath:

- For the Indian technology group: Have 5 accepted cultures.

- East African tech group with capital in the Horn of Africa: Either vanquish Ethiopia or Adal and have Sunni or Coptic as the dominant religion in the region.

- For East Asia: Don't have an overlord OR if you have the empire rank humiliate the Ming OR as the Ming maintain your hegemony.



- Added convert to Christianity/Islam OR follow Christianity/Islam cult age objective for West and Central African tech groups.

- Added a new age objective for Hordes to convert to Vajrayana and ally a Tibetan state. (I plan on creating a new vassal type in the future).

- Moved the Age Objective to harmonize multiple religions from the Age of Gunpowder Empires to the 3rd Age and now requires 3 (instead of 2) harmonized religions.

- Polynesians now also get the age objective 'Discover America' in the Age of Maritime Expansion.


- Removed the Trade Range bonus for embracing the 'Tributary System' institution (it still gives +1 diplomatic reputation).

- Added new Age Ability in the Age of Maritime Expansion. 'Indian Ocean Trading Network' is only available to those around the Indian Ocean and gives +50% Trade Range.

- Added new Age Ability unique to Gujarat. 'Gujarati Traders' gives +100% Trade Range and +25% Trade Steering (they cannot choose the above one).

- Removed 'Feudal de jure law' and 'Danish something' to make place for the above two new ones. (In the long term more abilities will be replaced).

- Changed Portugese special Age Ability to give Trade Range Modifier and Trade Steering instead of extra colonizers. (will probably change this again)

- Changed the VOC decision for the Netherlands to not just cede and gain claims on Indian provinces, but also those in East Indies.

- Added a decision to Tag-switch from NED to VOC.

- Changed the Age Objective for India (Age of Absolutism) to 'Unify India', now requiring rule (can be non-tributary subjects) over 200 (out 225 or so) Indian provinces, instead of 100% of the India Superregion.

- Added a new Age Objective for HRE members during the Age of Absolutism 'Shared Sovereignty', requiring 'Ewiger Landfriede' to have been enacted (replaces Emperor of China/India).

- Added a new Age Objective for Native Tribes requiring a federation with at least 5 members.

- Added a new Age Objective for Meso-Americans requiring 5 Mesoamerican Tributaries.

- Added a new Age Objective for Nahuatl religion, requiring 75 doom (replaces the 100 dev objective).

- Added a new Age Objective for Republics, that don't have access to Propagate Religion, requires being in a Trade League.

- Changed the Religious Age Objective in the Age of Gunpowder Empires to now requires 10 converted provinces OR 2 harmonized religions.

- Added new Age Objective for the Middle-East, replaces the 'Colonial Empire' objective. It requires having 3 Eyalets OR 3 Culturally Influenced Nations OR being one of those subject types.

- Added a new Age Objective for those with their capital in the India super region (instead of the Emperor of China objective), requiring them to unite India.

- Because of the new Timurid & Mughal missions in the latest DLC, I removed the few changed I had made to Timurid missions in an earlier version of the mod. I'll wait and see how things develop in this patch. I still am adamantly opposed to Timurid AI surviving and thriving.

- Removed history files of Timurids and Chagatai

- Nerfed the national ideas of Aceh (ATJ) and Palembang (PLB) from -10% tech cost to -5%. (SE-Asia already does too well with institutions in this mod, so -10% is just too much).

- Added a triggered modifier for Ottomans during the Age of Absolutism to neutralize the decadene mechanic. Decadence is one of the dumbest and most orientalist mechanics that recentlhy have been added to game.

- Corrected a province id for the institution spread modifier tied to the voyages of Zheng He. Medina now correctly gets the modifier instead of Jedah



Started to make changes to AGES, mind you this is still very much WIP and bare bones:


- Renamed the Age of Discovery to the Age of Maritime Expansion.

- Changed the Age of Reformation to the Age of Gunpowder Empires.

- New Ages now start a little bit later.

- Changed the Age Objective of 5 vassals to 5 tributaries OR being a tributary yourself.

- Changed the Age Objective of 2 Personal Unions to only 1 and now applies to both parties (overlord AND subject)

- Changed Embrace Renaissance to Embrace the most recent Institution.

- Replaced 'Control Centers of Trade' Age Objective with 'Spread of Islam through trade networks' requiring you to Propagate your religion in any Trade Node. (This may be a heavy lift in the early game, but it is most fitting for this Age)

- Replaced 'Join the Reformation' Age Objective with 'Be a Gunpowder Empire', requiring empire government rank and embracing Farang Guns.

- Changed 'Asian Trade' Age Objective to 'Global Trade', now rewarding the trade bonus in Slaves, Coffee and Cloves.

- 'Create a Colonial Empire' now only requires 3 colonial nations (instead of 5) OR being a colony

- 'Three Trade Companies' Age Objective now also rewards playing a Commercial Enterprise (East India Company)

Added 2 new personality traits for Confucian states that either give +0.25 or -0.25 yearly harmony.

Made it unlikely (-80%, Ardabil -95%) to get a ruler that has piety +-0.10 trait opposite to national ideas modifier. Instead of impossible.

Increased tributary monarch points from 5% of development to 6% (vanilla is 3%). The challenging balance with these mechanic is to make tributaries interesting and useful to players without making the mechanic broken and giving Ming too much mana.

Gave the Coptic Nations a bit more map vision on eachother at the start of the game. Since their religious mechanic revolves around supporting eachother.

Gave Muslim tech group a bit more vision in Africa

Changed the decision to form Bukhara. It now requires Tributary System instead of the original Feudalism. In vanilla Uzbeks start without Feudalism, but in the mod they start with Pax Mongolica already present. So this simply moves the requirement.

Added Uzbeks as a recommended nation in the bookmark

Added 2 new ruler personalities for Buddhist nations that give either -0.10 or +0.10 monthly karma.

Made it so that Muslim tags that have either -0.10 or +0.10 piety in their national ideas don't get an opposite personality trait.
