1.2.1.1 "The Elemental Update"

- 140+ new items:

diamond tools and weapons
golden leaf spear (causes enemies to drop more coins)
golden leafy sword (causes enemies to drop more coins)
golden leaf staff (golden leafling! causes enemies to drop more coins)
added fiery greatsword back into the game, with a new swing animation
and many more!
(keep in mind most of those items are just new variants of items, check infusions and tempering below)

- 5+ new npcs:

added a couple new npc variants to expert & master mode to ramp up the difficulty
a little, since infusing and tempering has been added
some npc variants are present in normal mode as well, just not as tough as the other ones!

- expert and master mode bosses health increased:
expert mode boss health is just a bit less forgiving and master mode bosses are truly more tanky now!
(wall of flesh also has 2000 more health in normal mode now for balance purposes since there's a lot more better options to kill it with now)
(moon lord also got significantly buffed in normal mode, to make him even more worthy of the title "final boss")
(also, good luck beating moon lord on master mode now)

- armor reforging at goblin tinkerer! (melee/summoner exclusive)

positive modifiers:
+1 defense
+1% endurance
+2% movement speed

rare positive modifiers:
increases ranged speed by 2%
increases blocks required to receive fall damage by 5
increases mana pickup range
increases mana regeneration rate

very rare positive modifiers:
emits light
slightly increases luck
provides 1 second of immunity to lava
+2 defense +1% endurance enhanced

super rare positive modifiers
decreases potion delay by 3.33 seconds
increases length of invincibility frames (doesn't stack)
grants immunity to knockback

negative modifiers:
-1 defense
-2 defense
-1% endurance
-2% endurance
-2% movement speed

very rare negative modifiers:
-5% movement speed & engulfs the user in flames

- expert mode exclusive: weapon infusing! (melee/summoner exclusive)

4 elemental gems that can be mixed or upgraded to a bigger variant (hardmode)
to get elemental gems first you need to buy a dull gem from the sorcerer
then you need to infuse it with elemental spirits which drop in these conditions:
fire - underworld
earth - normal caverns
celestial - snow
nature - jungle
only select gear can be infused (infusable gear displays colored tooltip)
infused gear has colored tooltip and changed sprite to match the element
gem socket - adds infusion slot to weapons (sold by goblin merchant)
shriving stone - can remove infusions (sold by sorcerer)
soul stone - can copy the first gem's element onto the second socket (craftable out of souls at demon/crimson altar)
hollow gem - can be put on empty weapons to revert them back to their original form (rarely drops in evil biomes)
pure gem - strips special weapons off it's original properties to make them infusable (rarely drops in the hallow)

- master mode exclusive: weapon tempering!

can be done by reforging at goblin tinkerer
requires an infusable or infused weapon to temper
ranges from -3 up to +9, decreasing or increasing important stats
tempering can rarely curse the weapon below -3 or ascend it above +9
tempering is capped at +3 when there is only 1 socket available (with exceptions)
tempering is capped at +6 when there are only 2 sockets available (with exceptions)
some rare legendary weapons are the exception and can reach +10 ascension
whetstone - can be used on non-infusable/infused weapons to make them temperable (rarely drops in evil biomes)
additional gems can be obtained in late-game, can be used on empty 2-socketed weapons to insert itself and increase tempering cap, consists of:
ascension gem - increases tempering cap to +10 (ascension, which grants certain buffs, craftable post-golem)
heavy gem - +5 damage, required for ascension gem (caverns, hardmode)
sharp gem - +15% critical strike chance, required for ascension gem (caverns, hardmode)
raw gem - +5% endurance, required for ascension gem (caverns, hardmode)

- added the "guide book" to starting items, it displays important informations which will help new players accomodate to the environment the mod creates a little more easily
- master mode players now spawn with quality sword instead of wooden sword and a gem bag to infuse their quality sword right away at workbench
- quality sword can now be infused
- quality sword is not craftable anymore
- picksaw can now be crafted at lihzahrd altar with solar tablet fragments and power cells since golem has got significantly buffed for expert/master modes and the arena is way too small to have a fun fight, you can now mine lihzahrd bricks or just take the lihzahrd altar and place it on your boss arena
- lihzahrd power cells are now craftable too
- rejuvenation potions now don't grant potion sickness, however they also don't stack and change player's life regen to a set value, nullifying accessory/weapon/potion based life regen bonuses
- increases max stack of mod healing items to 9999(potions etc.)
- changed some mana accessories/armor to regenerate mana instead of increasing it
- goblin merchant now emits a faint golden glow to make him more visible
- treasure goblins now only spawn in expert and master mode
- treasure goblins now can also drop golden bag and gems
- treasure goblins now have a superarmor (you can deal only 1 damage to them, 2 for crits) run away super fast from you when they see you, emit more dust, deal way less damage to make the player struggle a little more for their precious loot
- hobgoblin pyromancers now only spawn in expert and master mode
- bloodsuckers now only spawn in expert and master mode
- angelic slimes now only spawn in expert and master mode
- albino antlions now only spawn in expert and master mode
- steel golems now only spawn in master mode
- moonshine moths now only spawn in master mode
- magenta slimes now only spawn in master mode
- scarlet slimes now only spawn in expert and master mode
- blood phantoms now only spawn in master mode
- goblin merchant spawns a little more frequently in master mode
- underworld blood moon event is now exclusive to expert and master mode
- some additional blood moon npcs can now only spawn in expert and master mode
- rock slimes can now only spawn in expert and master mode
- reduced knockback resistance a bit for rock slimes
- goblin thieves now only spawn in expert and master mode
- hazel slimes now only spawn in expert and master mode
- runic skeletons now spawn only in master mode
- runic skeletons now glow to make them more visible and are transparent
- runic skeletons got significantly buffed to force players to avoid or struggle with them in early game if they find one
- runic skeletons now drop slightly more interesting loot
- pummeling repeater got a slight re-work
- nerfed defense-granting accessories
- buffed nightglow
- removed additional recipes for traveler's sword
- fixed mod rarity tier values
- made some rarities glow
- shiverleaf sword got a new swing animation
- poacher's bag is cheaper now
- triplex bow is no longer craftable
- electrowave katana now has a chance to electrocute enemies
- slightly nerfed willowleaf gear
- increased iceladen's drop rate from 1.33% to 2.5%
- bell is now craftable
- decreased bloodflame wand drop rate since it's now also craftable
- blood-related weapons, like bat bat or bloodmoon weps can now be infused with "vampire" prefix if there's a blood moon happening! (includes all yoyos, excludes crimson/infused weps)
- grimmblade got a new slash animation sprite
- ember knife now has a slash animation
- ember spear got buffed
- buffed some pre-hm ore greatswords
- buffed claymore
- changed goblin army necklaces drop chance 0.67%
