Update to 1.1.6

Updated to support RimWorld version 1.5. From now on all updates to this mod will only be made for the 1.5 version, unless otherwise specified.

Additions:

  • Added general support for changes made in 1.5.
  • Added the ashland journal, a new research book that specifically gives ashland focused research.
  • Added the explorer skeleton, which generates in ashland biomes. Deconstructing it will give you a randomly generated ashland journal, as well as the chance for an extra drop. If Exploration Mode is enabled, the explorer skeleton will also give a volcano map.
  • Added the volcanic condition duration slider mod setting, allowing you to make volcanic conditions last up to ten times longer.
  • Given the ashland swamp biome a small facelift:
    • Added new marsh terrain specifically for it.
    • Added lily pads, which will grow on the new marsh terrain.
    • Draggle tails now only grow on the new marsh terrain.
    • Slough fern can grow on the new marsh terrain.
  • Added the dust ant hive, replacing fetcherfly hives in the dustplains. Once beginner ash survival is researched, pawns can harvest insect meat from dust ant hives. Each time meat is harvested, the hive is damaged slightly. The hive will repair over time, but over harvesting may risk destroying it. This counts as animals/handling work.

Fixes:
  • Fixed bug musk being uncraftable (also for 1.4).
  • Added missing trade tags to guar (also for 1.4).
  • Fixed silt strider being able to eat polux trees.
  • Cliff racer swarm incident letter changed to negative event.
  • The cliff racer swarm incident will now count colony mechs when deciding how big the swarm should be.
  • Fixed code that replaces what terrain is created when terrain is dried by a moisture pump in ashland biomes.
  • Kwama foragers and vvardvarks can now eat plants, preventing them from starving in the wild.

Patches:
  • Added support for The Profane (also for 1.4).
  • Added some extra support for Pathfinding Framework
    • Netch, swamp jelly and cliff racers now use Pathfinding Framework instead of VE Framework.
    • Durzog now have the amphibious movement type.
    • Added a floating movement kind specifically for netch and swamp jelly. Effectively the same as flying, but allows them to be pen animals.

Misc:
  • Advanced fetcherfly studies research now requires you to study a fetcherfly hive core to unlock it.
  • Wormmouth can now deal acid burn damage, instead of regular burns.
  • Infernal scaled leather removed until there's something that gives it.
  • Resolution of item textures reduced to 128x128.
  • Resolution of fleck textures reduced to 64x64.
  • First batch of directional desiccated textures for animals. Don't expect the rest any time soon.
  • Immature textures for all harvestable trees.

Update to version 1.1.5 - Last update before 1.5.

  • Fixed the weeping leathercap tree giving mould leather as a secondary drop, instead of fungal leather.
  • Added support for Pathfinding Framework, specifically adding the appropriate tags to terrain defs.
  • Added a patch for Biomes! Caverns, preventing ashland biomes from overriding: crystal caverns, earthen depths, fungal forest biomes.
  • Added a few extra animal names to the ashland animals file.
  • Reworked how ashland regions are generated on the world map. No more round regions with heavy dithering, regions are now comparatively more natural, and more varied, in shape.
  • Added a setting to use the original ashland region generation, in case anyone actually wants that.
