## 5.7.0 is here. Some more balance changes from the last round of testing and the release of Arcanist into the wild.

# New:

## Arcanist:
* Added the class to the journal and created an individual shrine for Arcanist along with feats, icons, etc.

Arcanist uses Arcane Charge and Arcane Explosion to stack Arcane Empowerment on themselves, increasing their encumbrance and(if your server set it to scale) your magic damage. Otherwise, Arcanist rotates between Arcane Charge and Arcane Explosion and uses Arcane Blast whenever its off cooldown to do DPS. There's no order; both Arcane Charge or Arcane Blast can lead into the other, but maintaining your spellcasting rhythm is required for optimal DPS.

# Changes

## Bard:
* Biting Words: Now does 4x magic power, up from 3x. Remember that this does double damage to targets hit by Bard's missile as well!

## Outlaw:
* Leeching Poison (PvE): Now does 4x potency when triggered, up from 3x.
* Wounding Poison (PvE): Magic Power scaling increased slightly, from .75 magic power to 1.

## Arcanist:
* Arcane Barrier: Was still broken. I changed it again, hopefully this fixes the weird issue. I blame old magic shield tech.

## Other:
* Corrected a few icons and another combat spell feat that was awarding the wrong recipe.

# 5.6.88 is here. This is just a bugfixing patch for Arcanist effects. If it fixes the new issues introduced this class will be able to be added to the books next update!

* Arcane Empowerment: Now has a unique particle effect that plays on each stack gain.

## Arcanist:
* Arcane Blast: Increased damage scaling.
* Arcane Barrier: Adjusted healing amount, duration, and particle effects. Hopefully more reliable healing. Increased range as well to match the other targets.

## Prismaticist:
* Prismatic Elation: Now grants +5 bonus encumbrance as well so it has the potential to increase spellcaster damage.

* Arcane Blast: Corrected particles so they don't go insane.

# 5.6.87 is here. Abandoned current Arcanist design. Arcane Charge is now a separate cast and no longer stacks. Arcanist now gains stacks of Arcane Empowerment each spell they cast, increasing their encumbrance. More work will likely have to be done on this before it's ready for players, and with this design, it hinges on Encumbrance granting Spell Power as is done on Maelstrom server.

* Increased the duration of Expose Weakness buff from 4 to 6 seconds and lowered the cooldown of Expose Weakness from 16 to 12 seconds to make this similar to Fighter's buff.

* Fixed Exploit Weakness particles to not be blinding.

* Mighty Inspiration: Now grants +5 Encumbrance to put it in line with every other buff of similar class.

## Magus:
* Arcane Fire: Fixed tick duration on Arcane Fire circle's damage portion. This should allow the minor cripple to actually proc when a Magus is successfully comboing Hoarfrost and Arcane Fire.

## Ranger:
Rend Mark(PvE): Potency reduced from 4x to 3x. Previous buff with the cooldown reduction and scaling changes were a bit too much.

* Arcane Charge: Reworked Arcane Charge mechanic in an attempt to up Arcanist damage without further changing scalars.

# 5.6.85 is here. General fixes for bugs, a few more minor balance changes that were not quite read and... Excitingly(for me, anyway) these Arcane Barrier(previously Arcane Shield) changes are to balance it instead of just trying to make it work! Wooohooo.

* Mighty Inspiration: Now grants +4 Encumbrance for its duration.

## Magus:
* Frostfire Burn: Balanced as direct damage and no longer allowed to stack multiple instances to prevent exploitation on certain mob types.

## Outlaw:
* Wounding Poison PvE: Increased magic power scaling by 0.5.

## Revenant:
* Ravenous Chill: PvP damage reduced by 1/2. PvE potency buffed by 2x to compensate.
* Ethereal Flames: PvP damage reduced by 1/2. PvE uneffected. Correctly gains potency when targets have Encroaching Frost debuff active.

## Arcanist:
* Arcane Barrier: Cooldown increased from 10 to 30 seconds and now displays the proper particle when cast.
* Arcane Explosion: Now adds a stack of Arcane Charge with every hit.
* Arcane Blast: Now does 4x Magic Power.

## Ranger:
* Wind's Favor: Now refreshes duration when recast.

## Outlaw:
* Outlaw's Guile: Now refreshes duration when recast.

# 5.6.84 is here. This does a lot of class balancing for mystic classes, something already done with fighter classes. More adjustments will likely follow at a smaller scale over the coming days as I continue to work on Arcanist.

## Ranger:
* Ranger's Mark: Cooldown reduced to 6 seconds.
* Rend Mark: Magic Power scaling increased by 0.5.
* Rend Mark(PvE): Potency increased by 1x and cooldown reduced to 6 seconds.

## Other:
* Arcane Shield's magic power healing scaling makes no sense. I am basically throwing darts at a board because the scaling is untestable in game, so expect every patch to change this until I figure it out or give up and make it a base value.

## Weapons:
* Mithril Dual Swords now scale with strength.
* Mithril Greataxe now uses the basic 2h axe moveset rather than the whirlwind axe moveset.

## Blood Witch:
* Exsanguination Circle: Both PvE and PvP had a very minor buff to magic power scaling, around 0.1.

## Eldritch Knight:
* Eldritch Storm Circle(both): You can no longer use PvP and PvE Eldritch Storm at the same time. If both are active, neither will do damage.
* Eldritch Storm Circle(PvE): Potency increased by 1x.
Will likely be adding another PvE ability to Eldritch Knight, but it's very simple as is, so may keep it that way to fill the certain niche? Thoughts? If I did add one, it would increase the damage of Eldritch Storm's ticks in PvE when it was detected on the target and would do damage on its own, too.

## Magus:
* Arcane Fire Circle(PvE): Increased range by 1000 units, magic power scaling by 1.0 and potency when combo'd with Hoarfrost Circle by 1x.
* Hoarfrost Circle (PvE): Increased range by 1000 units, magic power scaling by 1.0 and potency when combo'd with Frostfire Circle by 1x.
* Forstfire Burn: Increased magic power scaling by 2.5.

## Pyromancer:
* Living Bomb: Magic power scaling increased by 1.0.
* Enkindle (PvE): Potency increased by 1x when Living Bomb is active.
* Early Detonation(Enkindle PvE with Living Bomb active): Increased potency by 1x and magic power scaling by 1.0.

## Prismaticist:
* Prismatic Blast: Fire and Lightning magic power scaling increased by 1.0 and Early Detonation from Prismatic Fire potency increased by 1x.
* Prismatic Charge: Potency of Fire and Lightning increased by 1x.

## Other:
*Arcane Shield is literally my bane. Adjusted its scaling even more.

* Frostfire Burn: Now stacks so you won't miss damage ticks.
