Update: Mar 27, 2024 @ 2:48pm

Added new title manager menu, with ability to filter various titles (pinned via character interaction, similar to pinning characters), then perform quick actions on the selected titles. Currently available quick actions are to get a claim, take titles, and destroy titles.

I will be adding more tabs and features to this menu, this is just the basic framework to get everything roughed out and make it easier to continue working on it. The next features that should be available quickly are changing the dejure title of a set of lower level titles and giving selected titles to a selected pinned character. I think I will also enable the ability to perform the various actions for a specific pinned character, which you will be able to select similar to other menus.

Two new modifiers were added to the military tab of the character editor modifiers tab, no disembark penalty, and no crossing penalty.

Fix for the character spawner menu losing the variable that allows characters to spawn with random traits if your character died or you switched characters.

Fix for sexuality buttons not working in the character editor if you hovered over the text label, changed the text label to normal text, instead of hyperlink type game concept text.

Cultural editor convert tab has had several new options added for the buttons at the bottom, as well as new tabs to sort between the new options. Notable additions are the option to convert the culture of all vassals / courtiers via their own buttons. Also added options for converting realm / sub-realm, which converts both counties and all courtiers of whoever you select. Also added quick options for each category, to specifically convert the realm / sub-realm of the player character. All of these options for conversion will also be coming to the religion menu whenever that comes around.

The diplomacy manager relations menu has been fully fleshed out, with options to reset relations for two selected characters, the primary character and all pinned characters, and between all pinned characters. The big part that was missing was the ability to use the checkmarks for anything, you can now check any combination of relations, then apply them with a button press to either the two selected characters, the primary character and all pinned characters, or between all pinned characters at once. If you try to add conflicting relations, the game may automatically remove some relations. Also, if you for example have lovers and soulmates checked, it will apply lover first, then soulmate, resulting in lover being lost (as soulmate is considered an advanced stage of lover) however if you apply it a second time, it will go ahead and add lover on top of soulmate. A similar situation occurs with friends / best friends and rival / nemesis.

Two new custom modifiers, one by request that does several things called True Rulers, and another that is just a flat +100 to plague resistance.

Also fixed the county control modifiers that were broken by the game update.

Fix for cultural editor not loading the right variables on start up.

Small update that brings the visuals of the army spawner in line with the updated character editor.

Also updated the character editor to include a clear all traits button for both the presents and traits tabs.

Finally added a levy option on the basic tab of the army spawner, I don't really recommend using it, since it actually increases the levy balance bar in the military tab, and since they don't recover, your bar will always be slightly empty, until all the special levy units are dead (which can take a long time). But hey, it's there if you really want it and I had someone specifically ask for this.

Fix for character editor religion list not working properly.

Update: Feb 19, 2024 @ 1:15am

Big overhaul for the character editor. All individual windows were broken down and combined into the single character editor window, with tabs to switch between the various menus, and the various options of each menu. This also made it pretty easy to have the pinned checkbox always available anytime you are in the character editor, which was a big point of confusion for people when it was only on the first window.

Each part of the character editor is easily edited without having to copy too much of the menu, since all the individual tabs are done in templates. Useful for making compatibility patches for mods.

One thing that people may not like is that the traits menu (for picking individual traits to give or take from a character) is about half the size it was before vertically, so people will have to do more scrolling to find what they are looking for. I added the option for people to right click on the traits tab at the top, which can open the old traits menu, which is still full size, in case someone prefers it that way.

Another thing is I decided to remove the innovation presents section for now, I may come back to it at some point, but it was just a bit more work than I had time for this time around, that section is pretty messy, as it was one of the very first things I scripted when I started making my own mod from scratch, and it shows. One way or another, the functions that were lost from the innovations presents will be restored, either directly in the presents menu, or in the cultural editor convert tab.

I threw in a couple of new trait presents in the form of preset personality traits. The two I did this time around were aggressive and timid. Essentially just picked traits that when given to a character make their AI act in a certain way.

For aggressive, it includes Wrathful, Brave, and Vengeful. This combination gives the AI a very aggressive personality.
For timid, it includes Shy, Craven, and forgiving. This combination should make the AI act more conciliatory.

More personalities can be added in the future, if you have a set of traits you would like to see, let me know. There's also the possibility of more than 3 traits to be added at once, not sure if / how that effects how they assign the overall personality, but it's an idea.

Lastly, I need to finish cleaning up some old character editor files, like all the old windows that are still in the files, but aren't actually connected to anything that the player can open.
I also need to fix redundant localizations, because I made the decision to make all new localization keys for the new menu, to make it more uniform, but that left all the old ones that will need cleaned up, shouldn't take too long.

Update: Feb 16, 2024 @ 2:10pm

Fix for alliances given via diplomacy manager instantly expiring.

Also reworked the alliance section to allow for 9999 year long truces, or 5 year truces, with a checkbox. Currently it doesn't have any effect on alliances, they seem to last the lifetime of the individuals that form them. I could see a possible path forward for making title alliances, that essentially persist from ruler to ruler, but I would have to experiment with that idea.
