Addressed:

1. Deathless Gene and Death Rattle: The new patch includes a safeguard to prevent Death Rattle-related ailments from affecting characters with the "Deathless" gene. This aligns well with the idea that vampires (Sanguophages) should not be affected by Death Rattle.
2. Coma Due to Over-extraction of Genes: The patch includes a fix that resolves an issue where gene implanting twice led to a coma rather than death. This addresses the concern about people entering a coma due to over-extraction of genes.

Bugs:

1. Animals not being able to be slaughtered or creatures not being 'finished off' due to the mod.
2. The issue of instant-death from gene extraction while genes are regrowing has not been addressed. Since the extractor pauses the pawn's health effects, one can spend a very long time extracting one single pawn, affecting the balance.

Planned:

1. Heart Attack Mechanism: There is still no feature that would make a heart attack destroy the heart instead of killing the pawn. This could add a layer of realism and complexity to the game.
3. More Realistic Mechanism for Ailments: Organ failures and brain damage could use a rework to align with what the player expects.
4. Customizability: In-game options menu to customize how the mod behaves.
5. Further Mod Compatibility: Add compatibility for additional mods.
6. Documentation: Clarity on how the mod's mechanics work in relation to new mechanics like organ failures or "death rest."
