Updated Monster Girl Quest 2.3 - there are some new / edited pages in the Guide located on the South West corner.

The newest addition is a Sea type Centaur species, Kelpie. (English encyclopedia page was not yet public at the time of update, so I wrote in a temporary page for her in the book from the official Japanese release).
**Config, uncheck 'mod caching' during first load to see updated content**

Now includes dynamic note cards for the guidelines on how to play. Thus, the game master can edit as they see fit and make their own custom rules. To use, right click and 'toggle lock text,' once done editing the note card you can lock the text again, allowing users to interact with the card during the game.

Other changes ... each Monster Girl species now includes at least 2 models with pre-generated stats. If you don't wish to make new stats you can find these in her wiki box or search within the biome collection to find a version with stats.

Update 2.2 May 2024

Added new Man-Eater species: Claustrophyte & Saccophyte plant mamono who dwell in the forests.
*Note: encyclopedia "nature" may need to be loaded without mod caching to update with the new entries.
New spawners added in nature row (wiki section for tracking captured monsters), Nature Girls and Forest Biome collection include new models / ref cards with and without stats.

To retain your current game and also have access to the new assets choose the option that's easiest for you:
1. Save your objects to a bag and take a screen shot of the captures section. You will need to remove the greyed-out decals (f9) to update your captures. Note: Additive load does not retain these so it's better to migrate the objects you need to the updated version.
2. Save updated objects to a bag and load these into your game. Nature, Forest, Claustrophyte & Saccophyte, additionally the asset boxes above the wiki section were updated. Swap these objects with the ones in your save. The drawback to this option is you need to unlock the nature row tiles in the wiki section and move them to the correct spot based on the encyclopedia. It's still much easier than removing decals to re-mark all you captures again..

Update 2.1

Fixed some decals with open scripts, (Large Mouse and Unicorn were printing on load >_<).
Re-assessed the Biomes and Collections by type. Biome & Type spawners on the Bird Girls rows were removed, but can still be found near the wiki section. Tile spawner replaced the infinite bag object I was using before the wonderful 'Make it a Bag' tool. Divided models and ref cards are no longer found in the wiki section but are still available on the North West side.
I made these changes to avoid updating duplicate containers, it was getting tedious (even for me).
I also updated pages in the guide to match the changes you see in the game (mostly anyway ...)

Tile Spawner collections for both Biome and Type (located on the wiki side of the table (South / West)), now include a higher chance to pull an NPC with pre-defined stats. Some model descriptions were audited against their ref cards and any mistakes I found were corrected. Finite collections were updated to add new unique models, but they only exist in the game for reference, thus no spawning script is attached and they act like default bag objects.

There is also a deck of reference cards (w/ alt state models) near the (North West) modding corner. The missing models: alternate state of each of these ref cards were added to the corresponding species spawners (state 2 of the wiki tile). Within the search box of a species spawner you will see objects in model form more often than not, and are able to read their stats on hover. Outside of this theme, there is one object that appears in Ref Card form, and on hover is shows you basic facts about the species. The alt state of these cards contain the default model with no pre-defined stats; this model will always include the original artwork (on the strength side), and a recolor (on the weakness side).

MG Quest RPG 2.0 Update:

I added 2 infinite spawner tiles for the pathing tiles you need after drawing a buff card / non path card. I also combined the pathing and exploration decks so there are 2 decks to pull from and restock: Crossroads and One-ways. Try to choose a tile that makes sense in a dungeon / RPG type game. When moving to the next tile draw from the appropriate deck to make a path through your 'build my own adventure' RPG.

A new sorting feature was added to the wiki side of the board (west side). You can now save mamono who you've given stats to in an infinite tile object for each species (accessible on state 2 of the tile). The previous method was using the active biome, and can still be used; but if a certain mamono is needed you can always find one with pre-defined stats in their species spawner!! It looks like the monster girl's reference card, but in tile form. The original state is printed with two decals for every known species. In the beginning, all the visible decals are in grayscale, and once the Hero captures a species they would use the decal tool [F9] to remove the grayscale thumbnail and unveil the color version below. (Click the grab tool [F1] after removal to prevent damage in the wiki ie: accidentally removing a decal for a species the Hero has yet to capture). If all else fails you can re-print the decals with a script. Right click the tile, choose "Scripting" > "Scripting Editor" and remove the initial double square brackets to print the desired decal. Then switch states twice to reload the tile with the decal script attached to it. Replace the "[[" removed from the script to prevent the game from stamping this image "on load" .. and or make the script better ... bonus point for sharing your solution with me ;)

I've been using the amazing "Make it a Bag" tool to create similar infinite spawners. Please reference the updated 'Read Me' at the South West corner to learn how to make your own mamono collections / custom infinite bag objects (last page). Also in the updated guide are suggestions on how to make the boss fight get harder as you progress through the levels.

Additionally, I've added various custom image counters to track how many mamono species you have yet to capture / and on the second state make loyal. Another tool I use are the stat counters, which have two states. For the Hero these are set to 0 until you roll four d6 and omit the lowest value; select the dice you need to auto calculate the value for the stat you rolled. In regards to the NPC's stat counters I find them useful to compare with the Hero's stats. I use grayscale to indicate negative values (the Hero's at an advantage) and color to indicate positive values (the Hero's at a disadvantage). This is a nice tool when you keep getting the same stat against the same monster so you don't need to recall or do the math again. Each counter can be spawned just in front of the harem lineup. Similar spawners were added around the mini game to be used for a bingo-esque mini game [Note: it works the same as before; any 3 in a row counts as a match (regardless of the weakness).] You could also make a token box vs rolling the d8 to define the hero's choice of weakness for his hoard of lustful mamono (getting at least 5 attempts, and should be called out before RNG starts).
Other counters were added to act as grid placement buff reminders. Right click + L to unlock and bring near your position to help with math during monster girl interactions.

There was also a wiki book added for the item cards from MGE (the English translation) originally written by KC. For the item cards that were a little abstract I made item usage guides. These can be found near the Hero's Adventure card, on the far East side of the board. Some of the revised treasure cards have a second state as a spawner for appropriate monster girls. To earn the treasure you must fight a model with stats from the container.
Note: Anything drawn from an infinite spawner object is a duplicate and should be deleted once it is no longer of use.

Update: Feb 15, 2024 @ 11:28am

Item cards were updated and now include an encyclopedia reference to help with story telling and context of what the item does / what it's significance is. Find these new assets near the bottom of the board to the right of the mamono biomes and left of the monster girl stat generation table.

These are now individual card assets that allow you to make notes when needed.

Added 3 new characters, and updated collections. Welcoming Dragonewt, Malef Dragon, and Taisui!

Fixed file sharing issue by making my GitHub repo public, haha >_> All Encyclopedia links are up to date XD
This means, URLs ending in Token= are no longer needed, but also seem to work either way. If you experience any issues loading assets please lmk!

Update: Apr 3, 2023 @ 4:25pm

Update 1.1 - Added new mamono: Krampus, and Phoenix to the game. Updated the official encyclopedia entry for Pyrow vs my machine translation.

I've been meaning to update this mod, but as the steam cloud decided to stop working I didn't have a resource to update assets. I finally discovered I could use github to source my ecchi game assets, but they only allow up to 25MB file sizes. Meaning I had to loose the main Alphabetical Encyclopedia entries with 222+ pages. Don't worry the 9 monster girl types still include entries as indicated by corresponding reference cards on the left side of the table / wiki section. In the place of the Alphabetical resource is a pink and teal box, one is only models, and the other is collections of cards. Inception Theory: draw the container and then you can search the reference cards for the chosen letter.

It's been over a year now, and I've learned the magic of nesting items, and auto refilling bags. Therefore, I added dual state tiles with a second state as an auto refilling bag. This is located in the center and in line with the Bird girls wiki section. Here you can draw infinitely for mamono with a given biome or type.

Two of the arena center tiles have the auto refilling bag power, triggered by the description value "on" .. this allows guest players to clone models or items on the board without the host needing to do this for them.

I also added the Make it a Bag tool from the workshop, this is how I'm creating dual state items that can also be bags.
