Major content update
After a long time, it is finally here. The next update for The Sirian Star Reworked has been released. Some of you waited for this very long, we hope that you will have a lot of fun. Check out the update list to see what's new and give us a feedback ;)

Do not forget to subscribe to newly added workshop object dependencies in order to play the new levels.

List of changes and updates
  • Completely reworked levels four, five and six with new structures, features, secrets, nasty traps, fights and much more. Go check them out and discover the new levels
  • Introduced cut scenes to all levels. They are VERY cringe, but I cannot do them better ;)
  • Replaced all items with their floating, outlined counterparts for a more classic vibe
  • Added additional enemies to all levels for serious people and coop gameplay to create an extra challenge for those who want it
  • Minor changes and bug fixes for levels one, two and three
  • Singleplayer and coop playtesting to ensure that everything is working as intended (Does not mean that this campaign is free of bugs :D )
  • Removed skill point procedure - That means that skill points are handled the same way as in the original Serious Sam campaign. A player will no longer receive skill points when starting a level directly from the menu and did not play the previous levels. We had a function to give the player missing skill points, but it did not work correctly. Now, the game will save skill points on its own. If you miss some skill points, make sure to complete the previous levels and collect them there
  • Improved internal scripting procedure
  • Improved performance by removing unneccessary vegetation

Additional information
We think that we have a great concept now for reworking the levels mow, but it will take a lot of time to make them as good as possible. The plan is to rework the next levels the same way. Next update will be released when levels seven, eight and nine are ready.

The plan was to wait for Siberain Mayhem workshop update and use enemies, gadgets and much more from there in our own campaign. Unfortunately, we were not able to import those things into Serious Sam 4. We hope that some skilled modder will release a Siberian Mayhem resource pack in the future.

Known issues
This is a list of known issues we were not able to fix in the latest update.
  • When using the ATV in level 3 and switching weapons, the game sometimes crashes. This issue occured in the original campaign, too
  • In coop gameplay, instead of gibbing, Kalopsies will sometimes fly towards one direction for eternity after death on client side
  • In coop gameplay, the boss bar for the boss in level 6 won't be visible for clients
  • In coop gameplay, the boss attack particles in level 6 wont't be visible for the clients sometimes

Level 3 - Great Abyss
  • Fixed a bug where the door to the teleporter won't open when unsing enemy multiplier

Bugfixing
Thank you for your comments so far. Here is a list of latest bug fixes based on your feedback:

Level 1 - Welcome to The Jungle
  • Fixed a bug with the door leading to the secret grenade launcher attachment creating a weird noise when standing right behind it

Level 2 - Hidden Valley
  • Changed behavior of some biomechs to make them walk up the hill a bit better

Level 3 - Great Abyss
  • Removed decorating roots on some objects, which flew in the air after destroying the object they have been glued to
  • Changed the behavior of some enemies near the abyss fight to make them follow their path a bit better. They are still stupid as a peace of bread, but not all of them should run into the abyss
