Version 1.0.0. I'm officially taking the campaign out of beta, though I'll continue to support this. Thanks for your feedback, everyone!

  • Fixed a typo in the second loading screen if you sided with the megacorps. Thanks to @feartheforce for the report!
  • Slight tweaks to improve some loading screens and dialogues.
  • Improve the look of the wooden tiles on the ground floor of Eclipse.
  • Kali will no longer use draining abilities while she's controlled by the AI.
  • Fixed one of Hailey's banter nodes that wasn't properly displaying her portrait.
  • After you locate the PU, the goal status is now immediately updated.
  • You now gain 2 Karma when recruiting mercenaries, in addition to the manpower boost.

Version 0.8.4:

  • Your base's equipment will now improve over time, based on the decisions you make within your missions.
  • Eclipse IC no longer take turns unless a decker is currently in the Matrix.
  • You can only talk with Omphalos once when rescuing her, and can no longer receive multiple rewards for doing so.
  • Tophet is now marginally easier to defeat. His health, dodge, armor, and spellcasting have all been slightly nerfed.

Version 0.8.3:

  • Made the Colma mission a bit easier by adding more healing.
  • If you finish The Five mission in a sub-optimal way, you can move freely to the exit without being in pseudo-turn-based mode.
  • Enemies in The Five now react more intelligently when coming under fire.
  • Increased the difficulty of the final mission:
    • Some of the respawnable weaker enemies were bumped up to the next tier.
    • After the retreat starts, all enemies spawn at a higher tier.
    • On the final map, twice as many enemies spawn at a time and all spawn at a higher tier.
  • Slightly decreased the maximum duration of the first phase of the final mission for non-Decker teams.

Version 0.8.2:

  • Boss music now properly plays even if the boss fight started while you had a decker in the Matrix.
  • Shortened the maximum duration of the first phase of the endgame by 25%; this will only impact very strong teams who didn't bring a decker.
  • Tightened up some of Kali's dialogue for the tri-vid side mission.
  • Slight audio boost to Tabitha's first arrival.

Hailey now wields (smartlinked) pistols instead of SMGs. This should make her less indispensable, while still allowing her to participate in combat if her drones are destroyed.
Elorn now wields SMGs instead of pistols. This should boost his usefulness, particularly when attacking single targets.
Amelia now sells smartlinked weapons.
Tophet no longer starts on a Heavy Ley Line during his boss fight. This should lower his crit and damage rates and make the fight a little more manageable. I'm still looking into additional ways to make this mission less cruel to non-optimized party loadouts.

Fixed some pathing and camera-following issues in Matrix maps that could trigger if you had entered free-move mode in both matrix-space and meat-space. Thanks yet again to @gdj, who is rapidly approaching MVP status for all-time-great bug reporting.

Fixed a bug that caused the wrong quest item to be removed when completing the PU side-quest. Thanks to @gdj for the report.
