Bug Fixes, Changes, and Adjustments
  • Added additional checks for player buildings to prevent spawns. Will help especially on servers with small land claim in the Server Settings

  • Reduced the frequency of "boss" spawns again. Since the ambush's will see an increased volume, it was necessary to reduce them down further. This is step 1 of updating the spawn tables with future updates planned as applicable.

  • Fixed defaults for min/max enemies

  • Phased out the following features as they are no longer needed:
    • Additional Spawn Settings
    • Progression Toggle

  • 'Enable Enemy Multiplier for Levels 90, 150, & 210' has been renamed to 'Enable Enemy Multiplier Curve Above Level 60.'

    This is due to the fact the setting is now based on a curve, rather than a hard number per level increase

    The following changes are credit to Xevyr for completely writing new code for the spawner system
  • The entire spawner system has been overhauled. It no longer checks for one player at a time with additional chances on random players on the server. Instead, every player gets their own ambush that starts from the moment they login to the server. Throughout their time on the server, the player will engage in ambush's based on the admin settings for the mod. Once an ambush is cleared by the player, their individual timer will reset.

    The ambush checks for various conditions to consider the player eligible for the ambush. If the player meets several criteria, they will not be ambushed, and the system will check regularly until they have cleared those conditions and proceed to attack the player with an ambush.

  • Ambush's now surround players and space out. They no longer spawn in the same exact spot, making engaging the ambush much more challenging and engaging.

  • All Ambush enemies are now friends and will focus their energies on taking down the player.

  • Defaults for the settings have changed. It is recommended that existing servers click the reset to defaults in the admin options for the mod, and adjust to their liking from there.

  • Removed the temporary armor fix for Forgotten Clan as Funcom fixed it themselves. The removal was also necessary due to the changing of the Stat table and the temp fix causing minor problems unless removed. (Hence the update)

  • Fixed an issue where if a certain roll occured with an Heirs to the North option, an Ambush would show up as nothing.

Additions
  • Added a Toggle for the "Require a Minimum # of Players on Server for Additional Ambush" so that Admins may decide if this should be on or not for themselves.

  • Added a setting for "Minimum # of Players Needed on Server for Additional Ambush: " so that this can be configured by Admins themselves. The toggle for requiring a minimum # of players on server must be on for this setting to work.

  • Added a Toggle for "Enable Ambush Despawner" so Admins may decide to have this setting on themselves or not

  • Added a setting for the "Ambush NPC Despawn Time" so that Admins may decide how long before the NPC's despawn outside of combat (Default is 5 minutes).
