Notes
  • The way bots purchase units continues to evolve requiring some additional files. I'm far from a bot expert, so have relied on Normand from the Valor mod team to provide expertise.
  • Additionally, LSB expands the breath of time options for Last Stand (evacuations) game mode allowing for much longer preparation times.

Notes
  • Standard DP in the vanilla game and this mod is now doubled (from 100 to 200). Though, LSB still has several 0 DP settings.
  • Rocket artillery, especially MLRS systems can be a dominating force in skirmishes. The new tag identifier applies to both emplacement and vehicle mounted rocket artillery and will allow exclusion of those systems.

  • Added bot.mp.lua file to allow bots to reference unit tags when purchasing (thx Normand)
  • Enabled Set Unit Options menu - Will work with companion mod.

Notes
  • 1.029 changed the way bots make unit purchases. Currently, doctrinal units do not reference unit tags which inhibits restricting doctrinal with the USO menu. A workaround is to remove DP points to prevent doctrinal units from being purchased.

  • Bug fix - removed any reference to Unit Set Options to avoid CTDs

Unit Set Options no longer works with the 1.029 patch. The new bot unit purchase system doesn't take into account units restricted by the player in multiplayer resulting in a crash to desktop. Temporarily removed references to USO functions until that a fix can be implemented.

Update to tags in preset files that support the Unit Set Options [USO] companion mod.
Changes:

  • Added Infantry teams [S] tag (riflemen and MG teams)
  • Added Vehicle Crews [S] tag
  • Removed Radioman tag (it's not used in the vanilla unit files)
  • Replaced Anti-Air Cannons [E] with Light Cannons [E] tag

Notes:
  • With the new tags, all Special teams now have a specific tag. This allows replacement vehicle crews to be available during pure tank battles
  • Replacement of the anti-air cannon tags allows the cannon category to be streamlined. The general rule for cannon size is light cannons: 20mm-47mm, medium cannons: 50mm-76mm, heavy cannons: 85mm and above.
