Long Skirmish Battles [LSB]

Description
LSB is Updated to GoH v1.048.
Long Skirmish Battles is updated to the latest game version.

Notes on Frontlines mode:
The GoH devs are yet to release custom definitions for the frontlines game mode. These definitions require an extensive amount of tuning to get the balance right. Frontlines game mode is so distinct I can't simply borrow the definitions from one of the other modes. So we have to wait for that to be released. The framework is there, so it'll come eventually.

For the moment, LSB mod only increases the preparation time tolerances, which means you can have up to 60 minutes to prepare for the battle (vanilla game only allows up to five minutes). Be aware that this wrecks balance in favor of the defender, but that's your call.

Note: preparation time and game time run concurrently and at the moment, there is no way to increase the maximum allowed game time of 2 hours. So the difference between game time and preparation time is the time you have to actually fight the battle.

Unit Set Options [USO]
The companion mod will take a bit longer to update since GoH v1.032 makes significant changes in the unit files on which the companion mod relies. Updates are slow due to demands of the war.

Long Skirmish Battles [LSB]
Want to play ridiculously long single or multiplayer player skirmish matches? This is the mod for you. With this mod, you can run over 10 hour skirmish matches.

Why so long?
If you want to play a match built more around strategy rather than brute force. Where building defenses and sneaky maneuver plays a larger role, this mod will help you get there. Or if you just want to see a map's landscape turned into the face of the moon as you rack up huge numbers of kills and/or casualties, this mod will also help you there.

What this mod does:
o Increases maximum Manpower (MP) limit to 1 million (previous limit was 100,000).
o Reduces minimum ManPower (MP) limit to 100 (previous limit was 1,000).
*Manpower (MP) defines the amount and type of units you can buy.
o Increases maximum Victory Points to Win (VP) to 1 million (Previous limit was 5,000).
*Victory Points (VP) is earned by holding capture points and defines the score a team must achieve to win.
o Adds additional pre-selects to resource settings to allow everything from small unit battles to massive titanic struggles.
*Command Points (CP) dictates the total unit points that can be deployed on the battlefield at any one time.
o Unlocks Unit Set Options menu which allows players to restrict which units are allowed to spawn.
Note: This adds several menu options to tailor your skirmish matches without changing the vanilla game. You still play vanilla matches unchanged by this mod.

Additional Settings
o Maximum preparation time increased to 3600 seconds (60 minutes) for all game modes.
o Impregnable Timeout set to 1 second.
o Default game duration timeout set to 120 minutes. There currently is not a way to increase that time.

INSTALLATION:
Just press the subscribe button and wait for the download to finish, then enter the game and activate the mod and play it by following the instructions in the slides above.

How to use this mod:
-Start a multiplayer > Skirmish (local or online) match on a map of your choosing.
-Set Game Settings to 'Custom' and select 'Advanced' to allow you to adjust the Total Manpower (MP) and Victory Point (VP) values.
-Uncheck 'Defeat at zero points' to prevent match from ending when one side's score falls to zero.
-Select Resource Settings (CP) value.
-Set Total Manpower (MP) values.
-Set 'Victory Points to Win' values.

Enjoy!

@Domio - The USO option requires the USO companion mod to function, but sadly, it has not been updated. That features involves files that go through fairly significant changes and additions with each game version and I currently don't have time to work on it.

awesome mod, however game crashes if i try to exclude units. any tips? without excluding anything it works ok

Yes. CP and DP are tied to the same setting. I don't have a way to change that. All I could do was increase the number of CP options to add additional DP choices.

For example, you'll see an option for: 100 CP / 100 DP which is an option from the original game followed by 100 CP / 0 DP [LSB] which this mod adds. Does that answer your question?

is there anything to adjust the DP value?

It's fun. I wish the game could handle it & was better optimized. Even just a 2v2 this thing gets the fps crying quick

LSB updated to v1.048 with frontlines support. It lacks custom options as the vanilla game hasn't added them yet.
