small but important update with the rockets.

firing the rockets has been simplified. instead of activating the rockets and then manually releasing them, they have been configured to auto release upon lighting the thruster. also they have been set with a timed fuse set for 5 seconds, or 997.5 meters away. you can remove or change the timed fuse, but i tried to get as close to 1 km as possible.

a very small yet powerful change has occurred!!

i am proud to introduce you to my latest Res&Dev product, the RT192S rocket. and what better way to showcase it than to stick it on an active aircraft and send it out into the world ready to rock and roll??

i will eventually put this into a whole new workshop item thread, but for now here are the specs and information on it.

-Naming
the name RT192S can be broken down into a couple parts R for Rocket, as opposed to a Missile (was supposed to be one, but the RC block absolutely refuses to work in conjunction with the hydro thruster... and thus i had to scrap that idea), T1 for the first type, 9 for the length of the entire rocket, and 2S for the explosive weight which is 2 Small warheads.

-firing instructions
first off, these do not fire straight if your in a G-enviorment, and i suspect only do if its a zero-G like space. with that taken into account, you have to vert-align it like cannons on a real fighter plane. thats where the hinges do their aiming part. i have it preset at ~10 degrees, but you should change this setting depending on what your zero distance is. if your target is farther then i suggest you adjust accordingly there is a preset G-menu slot (number 5 to be exact) that switches the rockets from landing mode to firing mode. after you activate it and the rockets have tilted, you need to prime the rocket with 1 and 3 (left and right rocket respectively) after you prime it, wait about a second then fox 2 with 2 and 4 (again left and right respectively) to release the rocket. releasing too early drops your impact point, but dropping too late messes the aim up.
<EVERYTHING ABOVE SIMPLIFIED>
G-menu actions to launch left rocket
5, 1, wait almost 1 second, 2
G-menu actions for launching right rocket
if not already tilted 5, 3, wait almost 1 second, 4

-PRIMING NOTES
priming the rockets not only lights off the thruster but also arms the warheads. so keep this in mind if you have the bright idea as to use these as detachable thrusters for your aircraft in the heat of a battle. not saying don't do it, but keep in mind one well fired shot can pretty much end your wing.
