The above features were done to force Armaedron to be a "land mount with the option to fly if needed", not a "viable flying mount/viable combat flier". He was never envisioned as being an adept flier; but a powerful terrestrial fighter with the ability to fly if needed, for faster travel and mobility purposes. However, you can still get an additional twenty percent speed by imprinting Armaedrons. We feel this imprinted speed is perfect as Armaedrons max speed.
