Ignore this change note.

Update: May 6, 2021 @ 1:07am

Updated to 3.0!

I'm back kinda sorta, life hit me like a truck recently so sorry this is a little late here but here's the changelog.

- Fixed issue where the Secluded Paradise initializer could be chosen without the origin.

- Added Natural Geneticists

- Updated the thumbnail once more.

- Added a new prescripted empire which may or may not be working properly. I'll fix it later if it's not.

Update: Feb 12, 2021 @ 12:59am

OK, noticed that the zro deposit from shroud touched would occasionally not appear properly. If the deposit doesn't appear at the start of the game, it will now appear in 10 days so I guess this is a quick bug fix.

Happy (belated) New Years!

Small update to the Secluded Paradise origin.
If you couldn't tell, the wormhole in your home system always connects to a black hole. This remains the same and is 100% intentional. HOWEVER, in this update, it has been changed just a little bit so that the black hole system now properly has T1 neighboring systems.

Before now, the black hole system essentially just spawned with random neighboring systems which could POTENTIALLY lead to an unfair advantage. I basically just ripped the T1 systems out of the base games initializers and thus, should be a tad more balanced.

That being said, the bug where you spawn on a chokepoint and thus being ACTUALLY separated from the rest of the galaxy should in theory be fixed.

Additionally, the tiny issue where that same black hole system could be chosen as your starting system from the empire creation screen has been fixed.

Finally, I'm trying to get Sol working under this origin. I'm running into some issues where adding it in essentially leads to a bunch of problems with wormholes involving other empires also using Secluded Paradise. It might be a bit til I get it working properly.

Update: Dec 17, 2020 @ 10:07pm

Boring stuff first.
Fixed some localization issues
Fixed another event that didn't have is_triggered_only. (Oops again!)
Renamed a couple files to make sense for y'all who look through that stuff.
Fixed some syntax errors.

Now for the new stuff.
Added a new, probably completely overpowered origin.
Secluded Paradise
Start in a system where both your homeworld and moon are gaia worlds.
Your habitability preference is set to Gaia Preference, making other planet types undesirable.
Your home system is isolated from the rest of the galaxy, connected only by a wormhole.
The probably maybe ultimate tall build.

Update: Nov 16, 2020 @ 3:12am

Added "is_triggered_only" to fix a hidden event that made the game lag like crazy. (oops)

Reduced the Hive Seed decision's influence cost from 100 to 50.

Update: Nov 14, 2020 @ 1:25am

ALRIGHT I WORKED HARD ON THIS ONE!

Hive Amalgamation now has a planetary decision that slowly converts worlds into hive worlds. This took some time to make and is definitely in need of bug testing right now. This also works with guili's planet modifiers.

If the planet is conquered by an opposing leader without the Hive Amalgamation origin, the planet takes a nasty habitability and pop growth minus. If it is conquered AGAIN by an empire with the origin (I.E. you), you may continue where you left off and proceed to the next step as usual.

Additionally fixed some minor localization issues.

ALSO fixed an error in the code from the Extermination Coalition that would essentially spam the everliving shit out of your error log so like sorry if that ended up inconveniencing you.

Also slightly buffed Planetary Conqueror's special starbase building to have 2 shipyards instead of the one.

Update: Nov 10, 2020 @ 6:32pm

Finally got to making a new origin!

New Origin:
Extermination Coalition
Start as the leader of a Research Cooperative with two additional members.
Members will occupy any Guaranteed Habitable Worlds slots near your home system.
All members are immortal machines, determined to eliminate all organic life in the galaxy.
Start with the Universal Compatibility tradition unlocked.
(Requires Synthetic Dawn and Federations to work properly!)

Changes:
Changed Planetary Ascendants' picture so it looks a little cleaner.
Changed descriptions of certain origins to express what DLCs are required to play it.
Changed prescripted empires to also require the correct DLCs.

Update: Oct 31, 2020 @ 12:10am

This one's a test to see whether or not I can get this mod to work with Planetary Diversity.
