An update to Starship Troopers Gamemode has been released. The update will be applied automatically, but If you have any problems with installing update, try restart Garry's Mod.

Gamemode Version - 0.8.1 Beta

The major changes include:


- Compatibility with latest Garry's Mod update

- Gamemode category set to "PVE"

- Added new players models for Soldier and Medic class
- Added new NPC canonical models
- Added same weapons players using to NPC soldiers
- Added wave counter to HUD
- Added boss health bar when Tanker-bug arrives
- Added new stronger type of default antlion bug
- Added player voice taunts when they reloading weapon, kill bugs or buy weapons
- Added experimental crosshair with ability to invert colors
- Added screen shake when shooting weapons

- Increased "MK55 Tactical Launcher" blast radius
- New way to store player credits, and hopefully fixed bug with "Morita IV Assault Rifle" heat issues
- Ammo crate can be used thru touch

- Lowered prices for everything in the shop
- First round now actually starts from 1 not from 0 so now there really true 12 waves
- Some optimization and micro optimization was made, hopefully gameplay become less laggy

- Fixed weapons flickering, cl_threaded_bone_setup was broken in 2019
- Fixed random lua errors at startup
- Fixed forever broken "Morita MK II Shotgun"
- Fixed lua error with Binoculars
- Fixed dispenser healing dead players
- Fixed broken textures on stg_outpost87 map
- Fixed broken class selection menu

and there is more small changes i forget.

Gamemode Version - 0.7.9 Beta

The major changes include:


- Multicore rendering is now enabled by default
- Fixed lua errors in the shop
- Fixed error in credits system #33
- Fixed compatibility with last Garry's Mod update
- Other small fixes

- Reward for killing bosses raised from 15 to 60
- Shotgun now realoading like normal rifle
- Reduced shotgun damage from 20 to 8

- Added missing particles
- Fixed case, when spectator can suicide by using "kill" or "explode" concommands
- Fixed case, when invisible Ammo Crate floating around the map and block players
- Fixed case, when you can't buy ammo, even if you have enough points
- Fixed case, when Sentry start spinning after receiving damage
- Fixed Sentry and Dispenser begin invisible #15
- Improved buildings interface a bit

Gamemode Version - 0.7.7 Beta

The major changes include:


- Added missing sounds and particles
- Removed "sss" text from equipment hud
- Fixed typo in shop
- Fixed bug with infinite metal
- Fixed bug related to players can damage and destroy equipment
- Fixed bug related to sentry can shot when upgrading
- Fixed a glitch when equipment have maximum level and hud still show upgrade progress
- Fixed a glitch when the blueprint does not follow the player
- Blueprint model now rendering only in Client side
- Equipment now have no collision with players
- Fixed an exploit when equipment not being removed after player leave as an engineer (#10)
- Reduced interval in votemap menu from 280 sec to 60 sec

- Removed old damage effect system
- Fixed Sentry muzzle flash
- Reduced Sentry damage form 3 to 2 damage per shot
- Reduced Sentry aim speed
- Increased Dispenser supply speed from 2 to 1.6 sec

- Increased Antlions health from 30 to 40 hp
- Increased Antlions swipe damage from 5 to 15
- Increased Antlions jump damage from 5 to 10

- Fixed bug with no working animation on tower turrets
- Reduced interval between round over and round start from 122 sec to 62 sec (#11)
