Follow up patch on recent balance changes as well as a few revamps to the cavalry, flying and haunt trees ive been meaning to do for a while. Ive developed a new strategy to approach balance so hopefully, this should be even more fun to play now.
SPecial note to Reinforcement positions. I have reduced reinforcement positions from heroes to a max of +1 - but the the era 4 tech Signal Corps now gives +1 Reinforcement positions empire wide.
Hope is that having a support/infantry hero is not nearly as mandatory as before due to that - although, having 4 instead of 3 Reinforcement positions is still quite strong.
Every hero class should bring something "special". Infantry is tanky and has +1 reinforcement. Support also has +reinforcement and a wide array of buffs to your army. Cavalry now has +reinforcement, too and offers a good mix of offence and defence - perfectly for leading fast&frail melee units. Ranged has Long Range and Flying offers battle movement for fliers as well as strong buffing&debuffing from the hero.


But anyway, here's the changelog:

A patch to buff the supportive capabilities of support-heroes.
Drakken are fine&good - Heal is great.
However, with the others, it is very rare that you should prioritize their buffs over simply attacking the enemy.
Morgawr buff, Hecatomb, is a very odd one. It can be difficult to use. This is complicated even further by the Morgawr heroes having very low initiative.
The mages Increased Fire is a decent buff - but if you can attack with your Ardent Mage Hero, that's almost always better. They have VERY good offensive stats.
To that end, I buffed both Ardent Fire and Hecatomb. I also buffed the Bark Skin capacity, which you can get in the support skill-tree.
Hecatomb will still be a bit of an oddity you wont use often - but if you can use it well, the payoff is appropriately big.
Going full support-tree on an ardent mage hero and buffing up strong offensive units with them should now be a legitimate option - they wont be a full-time support still like Drakken oftentimes are, but it should be beneficial to use their buff now.
Note that, due to buffing Bark Skin, the WWs Agache Shamans have received a small buff. I dont think that'll be an issue, though.
Lastly, I removed the second level of the new Shock! skill in the support tree. The capacity was too powerful period and also discouraged using your support-capacities over attacking the enemy for damage&debuffs. It's still a powerful skill regardless, in my opinion.

Never got this skill into a good state, due to the multiplicative nature of it. Now it only scales with approval and not also the number of districts you have. Should still be strong, but not as ludicrous as before.

Small Buffs to Chain Lightning and Auriga Affinity.
THis will affect any units with those capacities. However, I dont believe that'll be a problem.

Fixed a major AI bug. AI is now able to properly use newly added skills.
Fixed a small bug with sisters' and Morgawr unit-production skills.
