Scrolling over any of these tests will now state which departments they can be performed in as well as whether or not the patient needs to be hospitalized. This should clear up a lot of confusion.

- Lowered priorities for ELISA and RT PCR exams. Both exams are no longer performed in the Emergency department and require hospitalization

- Increased priority of Differential Diagnosis exam. This is one of the strongest exams in the game and will consistently achieve a diagnosis early if you have doctors who can use it. Make sure you have clinic doctors with the Advanced Diagnosis secondary specialization to make use of it!

- Added Radiology Fallback for ECG. This basically means ECG can now be ordered from any department and not just in Cardiology if you have the room in your radiology department.

Update 11

- The following Exams can no longer be done in the Trauma Center:

- Biopsy Sampling
- PCR Sampling
- Serology Sampling
- Stool Analysis Sampling
- Urine Analysis Sampling

The idea is that Trauma Centers should be rooms where critical patients are quickly stabilized and then transferred away. Before this update, too many patients were spending a very long time in Trauma centers while ER doctors were attempting to completely diagnosis these patients from these rooms.

- The following Exams can no longer be ordered in a clinic. Patients must be hospitalized for them to be ordered:

- Biopsy Sampling
- PCR Sampling
- Serology Sampling
- Stool Analysis Sampling (except Internal Medicine patients)
- Microscopic Sampling (except Neurology patients)
- CBC (Complete Blood Count) Sampling

This simulates the workup of patients in real life hospitals. Generally speaking, if a doctor is doing blood cultures, PCR tests or taking a biopsy sample; the patient is pretty sick. These patients in a real life scenario would be hospitalized when these kinds of tests are ordered. It might be annoying for players who only want to play clinics and not have to deal with hospitalization but this is a "design" choice on my part. It's both realistic and eases a lot of the workload on your clinics and labs. Otherwise clinic patients who require lots of blood work keep bouncing back and forth between their clinic doctors and waiting outside labs.

- Changed the "No clear diagnosis!" notification text. When a patient cannot do anymore exams at a clinic office, you will be notified that you must hospitalize the patient in order for you to continue ordering exams. This should clear up some confusion as to why some exams are grayed out.

- Gastroscopy can now be done at the Internal Medicine department at the Special Procedures room

Added missing lines to the Examinations.xml under EXM_USG to allow patients to be sent to the sonography for ultrasound.

This update changes every examination priority in the Examinations.xml file. One of my biggest annoyances with the game was how clinic patients who require more than one lab test end up going back and forth between the relevant lab and the clinic. This update fixes this issue.

After the initial interview and physical exam, any ER patient who still hasn't been diagnosed will be sent to the observation. I changed the priorities so that all the blood work and labs have a priority lower than 30 (the hardcoded threshold at which doctors will send patients to the ER observation). This means all ER patients will have their labs done while in a hospitalized state. This reduces the load on your ER clinics considerably.

In this update, mircobial sampling, biopsy sampling, PCR sampling, stool analysis sampling and Serology sampling ALL require the patient to be hospitalized before they can be ordered. After the latest update to the game, the following line was added to all examinations in the sonography and cardiography unit:

As such, I've updated my mod so that it has the same line. ICU is not supposed to be able to send patients to these two rooms. The reason is any exams that can be done in those two rooms, can also be done in the ICU. This is hard coded in the game.

Made changes to allow CBC sampling to be done in all departments.

Thorax Percussion and Opthalmoscopy can now be performed by all doctors.
