Update: Aug 11, 2020 @ 12:07pm

- updated to 1.5
- disabled culture and research calculations for now, will redo them soon
- removed the amount of angry pops from the province view - if it works, I'll add the amount of unrest they are causing instead
- added resource highlights like in vanilla
- added hotkeys to Single Player, Continue and New Game (Enter, Enter and Z)
- improved the trade view slightly
- province view *shouldn't* cause a lot of lag
- added a button to show all deity effect on the map ( the button appears at the bottom of the minimap when you select the religion map mode )
- added a progressbar for the Civil War alert

Update: Jul 27, 2020 @ 2:19pm

* Reworked combat window
- units are slightly bigger and have morale/strength/experience bars:
bright red = morale loss
dark red = strength loss
yellow bar at the botom = experience
- units are slightly colored to show mercs, migrants and retinues
- combat modifiers have a colored background to highlight bonuses/penalties

- sieges against you will be red
- green progressbar replaced with a smoother texture
- if a siege has a breach, you will see an icon with the number of breaches

- on religion map mode, hovering over the deity name shows their effects and category
- on holdings map mode, portraits show who owns holdings in your country

- added loyalty bars to most portraits

- fixed some localization issues with naval battle reports
- merged the latest Chinese translation (thank you folks, again)

Update: Jul 20, 2020 @ 12:43pm

added an option to resize the Overview window to your screen size

Update: Jul 11, 2020 @ 12:39pm

Added Macro-destroyer.

Added an in-game browser.

Redesigned the characters window:
- added schemes
- made loyalty and powerbase more prominent
- made it cleaner
- added a button to sell all prisoners into slavery

- removed some lag from the families
- added powerbase and loyalty for the family view
- removed job icons from that view because, turns out, they cause lag. Powerbase helps convey this information, but I'll look into a different solution.

- removed "show" from buttons

- updated flat buttons

- fixed some lag in the Nation Overview.

Added new options for the event window.
- you can tell it to appear in the center of the screen now (technically, it's 600 pixels from the right edge, so it may be off-center for some resolutions)
- you can hide description if you don't read events anymore
- you can use Enter or C to choose the first event option. It can also be disabled.
Note: if you have two events on the screen, the hotkey will only trigger for the *oldest* one. There is an indicator that shows what button will be triggered.

- added trait icons to minor events

- battle results window will no longer move the camera when pressing Escape. Use X for that instead.

- moved the message log to the minimap
- you can toggle map modes in the replay view again

Update: Jun 1, 2020 @ 10:00am

Performance:
- fixed lag when opening the Nation Overview and Mercenaries. This was a vanilla issue.
- (I think) fixed lag in warscreens with a lot of enemies
- fixed some framerate loss caused by map overlays (will need to update the Move Pops mod)
- cultural/religious unity per territory is only calculated when you open the province view instead of running a monthly event for all territories
- same for pop happiness
- you can choose how often to run some calculations or even disable them in settings. More will be added later.
- troop numbers aren't calculated for every country in the world anymore and you can run them manually on the war screen
- territory ranks don't use scripted guis anymore (should help slightly with FPS too)

Map:
- added back the city highlight button
- religion map mode now shows where treasures are, clicking will open the province view and show the tooltip for them (it is not possible to add this tooltip to the map overlay, sadly)
- this map mode also shows the names of the gods instead of territories now

- armies show skill of their commander when zoomed-out with little stars: silver for 0-5, 1 gold for 5-10, 2 golds for 10-15, 3 gold stars for 15+
- unhired mercenary armies are now semi-transparent and slightly smaller (I've tried to add a toggle to hide them but it caused them to flicker. I'll try to do it in the Map Overlays)
- an army without a leader doesn't have a yellow button when zoomed in
- hired mercenary armies have a merc icon (tell me if you don't like it)
- army food bar has a dark background

- add toggles to minimize province and population overlays. The toggles are finnicky, you might need to hit them twice to minimize all panels, but that's the only way to make it work without sacrificing FPS. Also, note that this will affect everyone in multiplayer!
- 0 pops are now invisible in the pop overlay, it's more compact and doesn't have the territory name

Province view:
- creating a trade route will keep the trade route window open
- you can also open the trade route window from Nation Overview
- moved build/destroy city buttons to the build menu (for FPS concerns, since they are scripted GUIs, plus they seem to either disappear for some people or they are too hard to see)
- added new fancy buttons for build/destroy city
- right-click isn't disabled when you can't build anymore

- removed the portrait if there is no holding owner

- updated the script for total province research, it's a lot more accurate now (but doesn't take omens and treasures into account yet)

Fixes:
- you can't create an invalid trade route from the province window anymore
- you can't build buildings in other countries (sorry, you need permits for that)
- garrison progress bar works now, I didn't realize it got fixed in vanilla
- military xp gain won't have too many decimals

Other:
- Outliner now shows schemes for favorite characters!
- Mercenaries window is filtered by Recruitable by default
- some minor UI things that caused the error log to complain
- merged some chinese message translations. I'm sorry for taking so long.

Update: Apr 28, 2020 @ 3:26pm

- fixed localization issues, specifically with battle messages
- added a bigger gap for the View Pops button so it looks normal in other languages
- added localizations for the character finder and some other tooltips for other languages (not translated)
- added Russian translation for the finder and some tooltips

Update: Apr 25, 2020 @ 11:23pm

Update: Apr 11, 2020 @ 8:57pm

- fixed more tooltips
- added compatibility with Move Pops Anywhere
- removed mapmode slotes - they are only visible when you open the selector
- changed holdings and cities mapmodes to be semi-transparent when zoomed-in, because their colors were too bright
