1.0.2.1: Community feedback update

Two major bugfixes. Some small but also pretty big balance changes to the way combat flows.

TL;DR: Enemies are slower moving, positioning matters more, enemies have minimum 1 Perseverance.

Bug Fixes
  • Scoundrel's Death-Dealer fixed by blacklisting it from Wisdom
  • Fixed Wisdom-extended statuses stacking (no more absurd numbers!)

Balance
  • VitalityToDamageRatio increased to 5.4 from 5.3 (this means slightly less global damage)
  • Finesse now grants 0.3m movement per point, not 0.4m.
  • Enemies in Tactician now have base 1 Perseverance.
  • Enemies no longer have The Pawn.
  • Enemies' base movement reduced closer to that of players in both Classic and Tactician.
  • Various enemy stats adjusted, so fewer have arbitrary levels of Perseverance.
  • Various bosses have had their Perseverance increased.

1.0.1.9: New skill & experimental fixes

New skill!
  • Throw Javelin has been fully implemented. Craftable with 1 Warfare and 1 Huntsman skillbook.
  • Throw Javelin has been reworked from early version: it deals damage and knocks the target back, crippling the opponent if they hit a wall or cliff.
Bug fixes
  • Implemented experimental fix for non-host player characters getting an excess of ability points.
  • Implemented experimental fix for occasional reports of Scoundrel's Death-Dealer not stacking.

Balance
  • VitalityToDamageRatio changed from 5.0 to 5.3
  • VitalityToDamageRatioGrowth changed from 0.025 to 0.03
  • This is intended to make encounters last a little longer with less "oneshot" potential.

Bug fixes
  • Wisdom no longer cancels effects of potions and consumable items. It no longer extends them either.

1.0.1.6: 04/05/2019 Balance Update (or 05/04/2019 for you Americans!)

Bug fixes
  • Fixed items getting set to their vendor's level! Sadly this will not be fixed retroactively, but a refresh of vendor stock should do the trick for most items.
  • Reworked Scoundrel's Mastery code. This should fix all bugs with Vulnerable stacks not applying correctly.
  • Fixed a bug where base talents granted from items could be recycled to give infinite points.
Balance
  • Chloroform damage reduced 80%
  • Incarnate Vitality increased ~25%
  • Chaos Elemental's Dimensional Bombardment damage increased 10%
  • Parasitic Heart's Blood Bond cost increased to 3AP from 2AP
  • Black-Hearted Lifesteal reduced to 50% from 60%
  • Almighty Cleave damage reduced 25%
  • Lone Wolf no longer doubles Polymorph
  • Eldritch Gatekeeper now deals severe damage to bosses instead of killing them instantly
Quality-of-Life
  • Fixed 'may be resisted by physical/magic armour' tooltips to say 'resistances' instead.
  • Updated Lone Wolf's tooltip to not include armour.
