General
- Fixed an issue where smaller insects that give chitin (Jug Bug, Meganeura, Glowbug, etc.) would be unharvestable by certain creatures like Gigas and Magmasaurs
- Fixed breaking weather effects on certain maps caused by referencing the horde route manager buff

Leedsichthys
- Now uses the same level scaling as Wyverns/Rock Drakes (up to 190 on difficulty 5, rather than 180) due to Wyverns becoming breedable.
- Can no longer grab passive tames in progress (too easy to abuse)

Reaper Queen
- Wild R-Reaper Queens in Genesis 2 are now replaced by the modded version. Due to the dev kit not being fully updated yet with Genesis 2 content they lack proper colorization on the materials (this will be fixed after the kit is updated). All normal settings apply, and the tamed version of the R-Reaper Queen should function the same as any other R-Variant. (Use prevent remapping ini config to disable this)
- Fixed a bug where the level reroll config wouldn’t work after a server restart

Opdatering: 3. maj 2021 kl. 20:24

General

- Jug Bugs, Glowbugs, Meganeura, and Seekers can now wear hats!
- Seekers are restricted to what types of hat they can wear for balancing reasons. They can wear all hat skins, but no flak/riot/etc. Seeker hat restrictions can be disabled via ini (PteroteuthisAllowAllHats=True) or outright prevented from wearing any hats (PteroteuthisPreventHats=True)

- Cnidaria, Meganeura and Eurypterids no longer automatically allow conversion to the Better Dinos version when the respective ini config is disabled (eg. having PreventBetterJellyfish=True would prevent NU Cnidaria from showing the option to convert to the BD Cnidaria)

Ammonite
- Fixed a vanilla issue that caused a small overspawn (average 2,500) of Ammonites in the Genesis ocean biome. Ammonite count (regardless of if they are the normal or X-variant) should be more reasonable. Note that vanilla Ammonites will still overspawn if this mod’s version is disabled.

Reaper Queen
- Wild reaper queens can no longer grab players that are already pregnant (rather than just not directly targeting them)
- Reworked non-temporary pregnancy buff from tamed reaper queens to use more custom variables, added config to prevent stat randomization
- Fixed a bug that allowed reaper queens to roar while underground

Glowbug / Jug Bug
- Adjusted some variables on Jug Bugs & Glowbugs so that taming effectiveness isn’t as terrible with berries
- 1 color addition to the natural Glowbug color set (Region 2, 14)
- Can no longer harvest charge from baby Glowbugs
- X-Jug Bug Acid explosion debuff now increases damage taken by 25% until the buff expires

Deathworm
- Added ini settings for Deathworm speed multipliers (separate for wild/tamed)

Cnidaria
- Bugfix for light intensity replication on tamed Cnidaria

Opdatering: 24. jan. 2021 kl. 16:38

General
- Fix for missing AAD dummy files causing remaps to fail
- Moved all costume items to a different folder in the mod, spawn codes in the guide have been updated. No items will be lost.
- Event chibi drops now include vanilla for Ammonite, Cnidaria
- X-variants of creatures from this mod now have their own chibis
- All non-water invertebrate eggs (jugbug, meganeura, deathworm, glowbug) updated to use the TLC models, several class names have changed.
- Added Ghost variants of several creatures (jugbug, deathworm, leedsichthys, reaper queen), will only spawn naturally when the active event is FearEvolved. Creatures can be added to spawners via ini, and costumes will drop from them (or be added to other loot pools via ini).
- Additional fortifications for the Disable Gender configs to ensure they properly take effect

Jug Bug
- Added X-Jug Bug, credits to Scorching Kami. Will spawn in the Bog biome when extra Genesis spawns are enabled via config.
- Several configs (Enable Breeding, Disable Taming, Disable Cloning) are now variant-specific and may have new names, in order to disable things on certain variants only.
- Slightly Increased base health (75->125)
- Minor performance improvements on flight sounds
- Adjusted color sets, taming affinity, and cloning costs for all variants
- Stats now affect resource generation speed and maximum resource amount
- Explosion damage now scales with melee
- Added option to punch tamed water jug bugs at max resources, causing them to explode. (Requested)
- Added ini to prevent resource generation from scaling with stats

Glowbug

- New status component - All glowbugs tamed before this update will “re-convert” themselves to avoid The Level 1 Bug. Dino ID will be changed as a result of this, but everything else should be retained.
- Rework of charge mechanics
- Can charge batteries placed in inventory (up to 50 at once, will use up stored charge for batteries)
- Added ini config to disable battery charging (DisableLightbugBatteryCharging)
- Uses both Charge Regen and Charge Capacity stats, but not Charge Radius.
- When shoulder-mounted, provides only a “weak” charge effect enough to deter Nameless but not attract Seekers.
- Adjustments to base texture & materials for a less washed-out appearance
- Adjusted color set again
- Wild glowbugs will now always have region 5 (the dye region) as pure white regardless of spawner/event color overrides (should stop them looking really off during events)
- Slightly increased base health (75->125)
- Adjusted sounds (should no longer make jug bug noises when landing/attacking)
- Fix for not playing proper animation with flying bite attack
- Fixed a bug that prevented chibi Glowbugs from dropping
- Chibi glowbug drop rate increased as a result of it being broken for so long
- Fixed taxidermy glowbugs not showing all regions properly
- Taxidermy glowbugs should now glow slightly
- Fixed a bug where disabling colorization on Glowbugs would have no effect

Leedsichthys
- Can now transport Microbe Swarms if wild dino transport is not disabled
- Now immune to squid ink buff

Cnidaria
- X-Cnidaria material pulse speed now based on movement/attacking/is dead
- Fixed X-Cnidaria taxidermy pulse speed
- Removed old inventory loss hotfix
- Disabled trap taming when set to be untameable by the spawner (eg. caves)
- Added ini config to enable gender, breeding
- Added a new taxidermy pose that’s just lower than normal to fit on medium/small bases

Deathworm
- Added ini config to enable gender, breeding
- Deathworms now react to war drums on the Mammoth saddle

Seeker
- Fixed bug that caused a specific self-applied buff to duplicate on restarts
- Max health regeneration from charge-light is now capped (cap is ini configurable)
- Can now carry artifacts in inventory

Nameless
- Wild will no longer target riders with the charge buff regardless of whether or not the dino is charged (for cases like skiffs, charge blocked by platform structures, ect.)
- Bugfix for not properly receiving buffs during initialization (resulted in some mod incompatibility)

Ammonite
- Removed old inventory loss hotfix

Eurypterid
- Removed old inventory loss hotfix
- Disabled trap taming when set to be untameable by the spawner (eg. caves)

Reaper Queen
- Fixed a bug with the level scaling config on wild

Opdatering: 19. okt. 2020 kl. 11:04

Cnidaria
- Added X-Cnidaria! Available with the config AddExtraGenesisSpawns=True, will replace normal Cnidaria in the ocean biome. (Spawn rate of Cnidaria does not increase with this config, they will remain at the same amounts as before.)
- Fix for light toggle option still functioning on dead tamed Cnidaria
- Cndiaria will stop emitting light when dead
- Fixed another buggy capsule thing preventing color assignment with console commands on dedicated servers
- Adjusted blood FX coloration
- Updated compatibility with extra QoL items with X-Cnidaria

Reaper Queen
- Persistent buffs from the Shiny! mod will now transfer from wild queens onto any tamed reapers obtained from them. (This only applies to wild, tamed will not transfer any buffs). Exception is the Enraged buff which will not be transferred. (Special thanks to Nevcairiel)
- Redesigned pregnancy buffs to use more custom variables instead of having 8 versions of the same buff. Previous now-unused buff classes will persist (but not be functional) until the next mod update where they will then be removed, to avoid any accidental deletions. (This only applies to wild)

Nameless
- Summoned reapers should stop ignoring something hitting them if an ally is being targeted by something they can’t reach
- Summoned minions should no longer ignore creatures that have the flag for “ignored by wild dinos” and will be properly targeted by them

Meganeura
- Meganeura that have been fed by a player will now wander around them and not just fly off into the sunset (as long as the player is still close by). Damaging them resets this.
- Flying wild meganeura will now wander slightly closer to the ground (to avoid needing to jump to feed them)
- Potential fix for occasional beeline to 50,50
- Adjusted taming ineffectiveness by affinity to be less extreme (should be able to get better taming effectiveness on 1x rates)

Leedsichthys
- Fixed missing option to convert to vanilla when ini enabled

Other
- Dermises of creatures with material overrides (oil jug bugs, aberrants, x-variants, ect.) will now display properly on taxidermy bases. This only applies to creatures from this mod.
- Moved Conversion scripts to external function library shared with other mods
- Removed the Turkey mesh that got cooked into the mod for the billionth time

Opdatering: 9. okt. 2020 kl. 21:01

- Hotfix for certain creatures having issues with capsule collision on dedicated and being unaffected by projectiles/untrappable with cryopods/DS

Opdatering: 8. okt. 2020 kl. 12:11

Leedsichthys
- Fixed dino icons on HUD elements not displaying correctly thanks to a WC patch

Deathworm
- Aberrant Deathworms will now spawn using normal methods rather than NPC random replacements (Special thanks to alex!)
- No longer bugs out when in baby stage via S+ mutator, ect. (Baby worms can be claimed even while underground and are visible to all players. They also lack the auto-bury toggle which is defaulted to on as a baby)
- Added fertilized egg class for mod compatibility
- Tamed Deathworms will unbury if a (non-allied) player is actively playing war drums nearby. They will stare in the direction of the drums but not move unless aggro’d. Range of drum detection is significantly shorter than wild, and they will stay aboveground regardless of auto-bury toggle for 30 seconds. (Requested due to PvP concerns)
- Does not occur if server is PvE, and can be disabled with ini config on PvP servers (DisableDeathwormTamedDrumReaction=True)

Seeker
- Pressing/Holding H to show extended info will now show stamina numbers on the HUD icon
- Fixed a crash involving the charge lantern

Cnidaria
- Wild is no longer ignored by turrets (WC why)
- Melee swing range now properly scales with random sizes (less issues with larger jellies hitting things)
- Added a disabled by default special attack for 3.0x size Cnidaria. Requires ini config to be enabled (AllowBigJellyShock=True)

Nameless
- Additional checks to prevent multiple alphas on wild Nameless
- Fixed some bugs with player targeting on reaper summons
- Summoned reapers will no longer attack wild dinos above 50% torpor regardless of ally targeting (should keep them from trying to eat KO tames in progress). Does not replace other checks for taming in progress.
- Additional checks to force deaggro summoned reapers from potential tames in progress
- Fixed a bug with summoned reapers not burying away once reaching the low health threshold
- Fixed a bug where Nameless alphas would take longer than intended to summon a reaper due to temporary target loss
- Fixed a bug where wild Nameless would occasionally get stuck in place if startled while unburying
- Unclaimed Nameless that are underground are now visible to all players (rather than same tribe only)

Eurypterid
- Fixed bug with sleeping idle animation not working correctly

Meganeura
- Fixed awkward flying eating animation

Reaper Queen
- Copied some of the IK settings from the tamed version to wild version (to account for scaling up in size - should be less awkward on slopes)

Other
- Fixed a case of surface nameless/seekers overspawning on game restarts in singleplayer
- Fixed issue with collision when using cheat commands (set color, ect.) on dedicated servers for the following creatures: Ammonite, Eurypterid, Meganeura, Jug Bug, Glowbug

Opdatering: 20. juli 2020 kl. 0:11

- Fixed some incorrect egg classes
- Added ini configs to allow wild fish basket trapping of Cnidaria and Eurypterids. Note that they will NOT gain bonus taming effectiveness levels this way and will have whatever bugs the normal fish basket tames do.
- Fixed bug with Eurypterid ignoring several ini configs
- Added a one-time fix for Cnidaria/Ammonite/Eurypterid inventory components missing as of a previous update - will re-add the inventory to creatures that were not stored/uploaded/ect. after the bugfix happened and had no inventory as a result.
- If one of the above creatures was missing an inventory component, after one is added food will be restored to max. This is a one-time thing only for the affected creatures, due to the lack of inventory component apparently preventing feeding troughs from working on them (causing starvation).
- Fix for wild Deathworms still grabbing dinos with riders even without enabling the separate config for it
- Updated compatibility with extra QoL items beta

Opdatering: 5. juli 2020 kl. 0:15

- Hotfix for euryp, cnidaria and ammonite losing inventory component files (as well as some other files)
- Fix for Leedsichthys not allowing inventory access while having stored dinos

Opdatering: 4. juli 2020 kl. 16:57

- Fixed crash when trying to ride a Leedsichthys, reverted back to normal rideable state and removed ini to force allow riding.
- Note that Leeds HUD elements are missing dino icons due to some WC changes i'm still figuring out - this will be fixed later, for now the priority is making them functional again.
- Removed Ammonite Chibi due to vanilla release (all previously existing ones will turn to vanilla)
- Added remapped Cnidaria Chibi to force color data to be retained. Chibi is identical to vanilla but has colors, on mod removal will revert back to vanilla. This may be removed in the future if I can figure out how to get color data working on the vanilla ones.
- Decreased Ammonite natural targeting range (you will need to get fairly close to them before they freak out and make everything aggro onto you)
- Fixed bug with alpha leedsichthys death drops during events
- Reworked materials & color set on X-Ammonite, X-Ammonite should be fully functional now.
- Fix for color set override config not working on Genesis creatures due to spawner colors
- Minor text fixes

Opdatering: 11. juni 2020 kl. 7:42

General
- Increased chance for chibi drops from Jug Bugs/Glowbugs when enabled

Leedsichthys
- Are now temporarily unrideable until the client crash bug can be fixed. May require a dev kit update which should be “soon” - until then, use the config ForceAllowLeedsRiding=True if you want to re-enable riding on them (or check if they’re still crashing)
- Added Chibi Leedsichthys

Ammonite
- Added Chibi Ammonite

Reaper Queen
- Fix for tamed name copying on reapers from tamed queens

Nameless
- Fix for wild Nameless getting stuck in the ground after turning alpha
- Potential fix for wild Nameless getting stuck in the ground after turning alpha

Meganeura
- Will now show OSD corrupted creatures regardless of “hidden” state (buried, camo’d drake, ect.)

Jug Bug
- Removed floating text from baby jugbugs
