All Maps

- Moderate revamps and polish to maps 3, 4, and 5. Big revamps planned for maps 1 and 2 in the future!
- Significant entity optimization across all maps.
- Implemented a new lighting upgrade that will greatly improve lighting quality in certain areas.
- Versus Mode: [Custom Boss System] Players can now change the custom Tank and Witch spawns by typing "tankspawn X" and "witchspawn X" in chat without quotes, and where X is a number from 1-10.
- Versus Mode: [Custom Boss System] Moved a few Tank spawns a bit closer to where they're triggered from to prevent Survivors from running back and forcing the Tank to become an AI.
- Versus Mode: Dumpsters that are not hittable as Tank are now green to make them easier to identify. Hittable dumpsters remain colored grey.
- Campaign Mode: Reduced ammo spawns slightly.
- Re-Added collision to numerous medium sized objects, including: Green/Blue Trash bins, potted plants, yellow bollards, etc.
- Replaced low quality door textures with higher quality door models.


The Motel

- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to skip going under the bridge.
- Fixed a spot where the cymbal melee weapon could spawn.


The Carnival

- Added a beta-styled texture to the slide (Thanks to Gyroic).
- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to jump on props and skip entering the merry-go-round area through the normal route.


The Tunnel of Love

MAJOR CHANGES:
- Versus mode: Reworked the event and added a new path for Survivors. Instead of taking the double ramp drop, you will instead drop off the side onto the lower coaster platform. In order to avoid the coaster running over Survivors on this new path, a new scene has been added where the coaster cars crash into a gate.

MINOR CHANGES:
- Versus mode: Reduced distance points from 600 to 500.
- Versus mode: Fixed Tanks not spawning if you dropped down the vent instead of the hole.
- Versus mode: Survivors can no longer run back in the map after dropping down the hole.
- Versus mode: Removed the loud helicopter flyover when leaving the Tunnel of Love.
- Campaign Mode: Fixed being unable to run back in the map if you dropped down the vent instead of the hole in the Tunnel of Love.
- Removed some poles and pipes from the swan maintenence room that could block your movement when walking below the raised walkway.
- Moved an SI ladder immediately after leaving the warehouse further away to make rooftop spawns take a bit longer.
- Moved the large shipping container further away from the warehouse exit door to increase walkable space.
- Made the dumpster in the fairgrounds area hittable.
- Removed Survivor clip brushes above some tents.
- Removed a small red tent near Moustachio to increase walkable space.
- Removed pieces of the Coaster supports that Survivors cannot stand on to avoid confusion.
- Optimized the Coaster model significantly.
- Fixed a hole in the map geometry near the Coaster.
- Re-added clipping that allows SI to stand on a few parts of the coaster wood for spawns to set up death pulls/Jockeys/Charges by the areas with missing wood pieces.
- Reduced the possibility of Survivors who are charged off the Coaster from getting stuck in clip brushes.
- Added some more detail to the rooftop of the building that goes over the coaster.
- Reduced the feeling of claustrophobia and increased the walkable space in the building that goes over the coaster.
- Removed Survivor clipping over some of the railing before the final descent to the event turn-off switch.
- The event turn-off switch is now located in a small shack, in the same location.
- Removed a large bush near the end saferoom to make the path forward more visible.
- Enabled collision on the tree cluster near the end saferoom.
- Added some minor ambient sound effects: electrical boxes will now slightly hum, flies will buzz, pipes have water passing through them, etc.
- Other minor details and additions added across the map: cobwebs in corners, fans rotating in vents, flies around trashbags, new side rooms, water dripping from pipes etc.


The Ferris Wheel

MAJOR CHANGES:
- Remade the raised veranda area during the event. Added much more walkable space and reduced clutter. In Versus mode, the upper floor is now blocked.
- Fixed common sometimes not spawning during the event.
- Increased rate of common spawning during the event, but capped the max common at a lower number. This should result in a more steady stream of infected without feeling too overwhelming.

MINOR CHANGES:
- Replaced the skybox Coaster model with a more optimized version.
- Fixed the bumper car poles clipping through the bumper cars.
- Fixed a bumper car being stuck in the ground.
- Removed clipping to allow players to jump up the sides of the fences leading into the bumper car area, as in the vanilla map.
- Removed clipping over some small fences, bushes, and other areas for Survivors to jump on.
- Fixed a broken SI ladder near the start.
- Fixed some walls in the barns not being wall-bangable due to having walls too thick.
- Replaced a non-hittable forklift with a crate.
- Replaced hittable forklift by the entrance to the park with a dumpster.
- Removed the forklift by the roof climb area.
- Fixed a broken SI ladder by the barns.
- Fixed a melee weapon spawning in an unreachable location by the event button.
- Fixed being able to trigger the event twice.
- Added some minor detail to help guide players through the event area without getting lost.
- Added some minor ambient sound effects: electrical boxes will now slightly hum, flies will buzz, pipes have water passing through them, etc.
- Versus mode: Deleted some trees and changed some other trees into smaller versions to reduce foliage clutter. This should reduce the feeling of "overwhelming" amounts of detail in various areas.
- Versus mode: The 2 large tents in front of the bumper car building at the start are removed to reduce clutter.
- Versus mode: Removed the loud helicopter flyover when leaving the warehouse.


The Stadium

MAJOR CHANGES:
- Finale layout has been slightly revamped to allow players to traverse the arena easier.

MINOR CHANGES:
- Fixed the finale sometimes getting stuck and not continuing after killing the first Tank.
- Versus Mode: Survivors can now start the finale event immediately upon entering the stadium without having to first turn on the lights. Make sure your teammates are inside the finale boundaries before you start, or they'll be killed!
- Versus Mode: Stadium event max common reduced from 25 to 18.
- Versus Mode: Stadium event mob spawn size reduced from 16 to 9.
- Reduced some clutter along paths towards gas cans during the scavenge event.
- Moved gas cans slightly closer during the scavenge event.
- Significantly toned down physical and visual clutter in the stadium and simplified layout.
- Added breakable glass windows to the area near the stadium lights button.
- Covered some windows near the stadium lights button with plywood.
- Increased the width of the stairs leading up to the stage.
- Tweaked the area by the gate button that leads behind the stadium to reduce difficulty: Removed some bushes and foliage, removed an easy infected ladder to the rooftop, blocked off the back of the white van and moved it further away, removed several boxes and crates on the dock area, and moved the large firework explosive closer to the gate.
- The gascan that spawns in the finale during the "more lights!" event will now be underneath a small tent, near the same location.
- Added some detail to the explosive fireworks crate behind the stage.
- Fixed bots ledge hanging when attempting to get onto the helicopter.
- Minor new details added across the level.
- Optimizations for improved framerate.
- Minor clipping improvements.

The Stadium

- Versus mode: Removed 2nd finale Tank. There is now only one Tank for the map.

Dark Carnival: Remix 1/16/2019 Changelog

All Maps

- Added rescue closets to every map.
- Reduced defib spawn rate to normal now that rescue closets have been added.
- Tanks and Witches should no longer spawn during events in campaign mode.
- Fixed several spots where Special Infected would get stuck when attempting to climb up a fence or wall.
- Electric Guitars will no longer spawn normally in the campaign; they will only appear on the finale.

The Motel

- Campaign mode: Prevented Tanks and Witches from spawning very early in the map.
- Versus mode: Tank spawn boundaries in the map now conform properly to the ground rather than floating in the air.
- Set some of the doors in the motel now default to being open to allow for more infected spawns.
- Optimized the highway and motel area slightly.
- Fixed common infected spawning on top of the billboard.
- Removed a railing on the motel second floor before entering the valley.
- Added an SI ladder to the pool gate.
- Added an SI ladder to the fence next to the semi truck near the motel.
- The motel office is now a rescue closet spawn.
- Added a door to a first floor bathroom in the motel to turn it into a rescue closet spawn.
- The outhouse in the valley is now a rescue closet spawn.

The Carnival

- Minor optimization and entity reduction.
- Fixed a tree in Kiddyland having no collision.
- Fixed physics objects falling through the ground in Kiddyland.
- Unblocked some rooftops in Kiddyland for infected.
- Moved the first pill cabinet into the room leading to the alley that leads to the rooftops.
- Fixed the end saferoom not exactly matching up with the beginning saferoom on the next map.
- Added a new room when leaving the first warehouse for a rescue closet and item spawn location.
- Added a new room in the storage area after the alley for a rescue closet and item spawn location.
- Added a door to the room on the rooftops for a rescue closet spawn.
- Added a door to the storage room before the carousel event to create a rescue closet spawn.
- Added an ammo pile near the bottom of the Water Slide for late Tank spawns.
- Versus mode: The gate to the Carousel now opens 33% faster.

The Tunnel of Love

- Added more details to the beginning of the map, including a new maintenance hallway off to the side and a trim on the bottom of the walls.
- The white railings near the bushes at the beginning of the map can now be walked on.
- Optimized the Coaster and Fairgrounds area slightly.
- Improved collision on the railings in the swan maintenence room and made it easier to take the pipe shortcut.
- Fixed a few spots where Special Infected bots would get stuck in.
- Added more SI ladders and improved clipping in the picnic table area.
- The coaster gate now briefly glows when opening to lead the way forward.
- Blocked a shortcut on the coaster that allowed players to skip part of the map.
- Moved two SI ladders leading to the coaster area.
- The storage closet in the swan maintenence room is now a rescue closet.
- Added a new room next to the area where you exit the Tunnel of Love for a rescue closet and item spawn location.
- The three porta-potties by the entrance to the Coaster are now openable and potential rescue closets. Note: These doors are locked closed in Versus mode due to being unbreakable.

The Ferris Wheel

- Optimized various areas slightly.

The Stadium

- Added a destructible drumset to the finale stage.

- Fixed common infected sometimes not spawning properly.
- Versus mode: Moved the Tank spawn at the stadium entrance forward slightly.
- Versus mode: Fixed the map sometimes not ending when Survivors enter the chopper.
- Fixed the Electric Guitars on stage clipping into the speakers.
- Re-arranged some objects on the stage and removed clipping above some objects.
- Three porta-potties by the entrance to the stadium are now openable and potential rescue closets. Note: These doors are locked closed in Versus mode due to being unbreakable.

- Fixed the secret ending not triggering if the map restarted before you collected a coin.
- Fixed having a purple skybox texture if playing on low shader settings.
- New feature: Long Survivor conversations that play at the start of a map will now stop playing after you wipe or restart, to avoid annoyance.
- Fixed a few Special Infected ladders not being climbable.
- Fixed medkits spawning in competitive configurations. (Versus Mode)

- Scavenge Event: Versus mode: All horde removed, gas cans required reduced from 4 to 3.
