Added new feature that will kick in once the Highlander 1.20 update comes out: Continent heat will be partially transferred from the highest heat continent to the lowest heat continent that XCOM has operated in. This is roughly 25% of the heat being transferred.

Tier One Heat now kicks in at about 63 points of heat: this means normal mission gameplay should occur way earlier on in a new continent or in the early game.

Tier Two Heat now kicks in at about 313 points of heat: this should give you more breathing room early on in the game.

Advanced Forces has now been replaced with ADVENT Surge: this is a less severe version of Advanced Forces, so the jump in capability isn't as much - you should be able to do a run and gun fight to the objective and to the evac zone more easily.


Base Heat Decay Rate nerfed to 0.4 points of heat per day.

Heat Decay Rate bonus from scientists has been nerfed to 0.15 points of heat per day. This reflects a change in max heat decay from 0.75 points per day to 0.55 points per day.


Soldiers now work a bit more as a haven adviser:

1) They now provide additional turns depending on their rank:
* Squaddie to Corporal - 1 turn
* Sergeant to Major - 2 turns
* Colonel and beyond (ie supporting 8 rank mods) - 3 turns

2) Soldier on assignment get some XP from overseeing missions you take on a continent: it's worth about 25% of kills that happen on a mission.

Fixed supply drop rebate applying when it shouldn't have

Fixed supply drop *maluses* only applying if you staffed an engineer on a continent

Shen's Last Gift and Alien Hunters DLC missions are no longer counted for heat purposes. (Lost and Abandoned still counts.)

Fixed no heat sitreps spawning when they shouldn't have: gamestate is none checks have been added to make sure this doesn't occur again.

Added Resistance Management menu option under Command: this should let Resistance Commands be managed by controller players.

Command Raids now properly account for the fact that they may spawn on the starting region: this region will never be lost to the player even if the player loses the command raid.

Story missions and certain special mission types like ambushes or avenger defences will be excluded from having heat sitreps applied.
