Please make sure that the patch is applied properly via Steam Workshop. Sometimes Steam Workshop has issues with updating files. You can do that by resubbing to the Workshop Item.

PATCHNOTES:

Database (workshop, new career needed):
- adjusted driver skills of Wehrlein, Hartley, Gasly, Leclerc, Magnussen, Ericsson
- deleted all potential of all drivers
- added 11 new female drivers, two drivers of the main database have been overwritten (Guslo/Wassermann) resulting in old savegames showing female portraits for these two
- buffed Mercedes, nerfed Ferrari slightly, bits of part performances of some more teams have slightly been changed. Remember: Performance of teams are affected by AI/Player decisions of part developing etc and the random generated base stat modifier of engines even before Season 1 starts
- new UI and Staff Colors by kewcet and Nikesz
- endgame HQ balancing (much more expensive, bigger effect of Level 4 Factory/Design Centre)
- slight adjustments to other buildings, less income for Theme Park
- adjustment of championship rules: F2 and F3 can unspec cars, different track-versions for F1
- cut 10% sponsormoney
- personality traits overhaul, find the detailed explanation pinned in #fire_development on discord
- mechanics reskilled (that you can't find the mechanics you are used to)
- adjusted Teamagression and Political Attributes of some teams
- adjusted Driver contracts of F1 to reallife values, most contracts of else series expire end of 2018
- added a trait making "old" SingleSeater Drivers available for all series to make sure they can be hired into other series, this will lead to a mail regarding "reserve driver from unemployed..." This mail can not be changed via workshop so it may be a little weird but not a bug.

Database (DLL Version only, new career needed):
- reallife contractlengths for F1 drivers (else contracts mostly end 2018)
- F1 part reset will happen at 1400 points -> part reset will happen around 2020-2022
- 7 new engines for some F1 Teams (F2 and F3 Teams can only buy Ferrari, Mercedes, Honda and Renault engines once they get promoted to F1)
Red Bull will start with Renault engines but won't be able to buy any for 2019.

Graphics (workshop, works with savegames):
- 11 new Portraits, some existing portraits changed
- blurry F1 Engineer Portraits fixed (seen by some players)
- F1 car sponsor placement on Engine cover and nose fixed (stretched on engine cover, covered the numbers on the nose in some cases)
- added 'moving/blurry' F1 tyres for races
- added more F1 liveries, find them under "workshop" ID's are (new liveries shown in #fire18_patch_liveries on discord)

DesignData (Workshop, only 'long races', works with savegames)
- SingleSeater tyres completly reworked, should allow more realistic strategies eg. Soft-Medium-Medium or Soft-Hard, hardest component available in race much more useable, still depending on driver smoothness and Chassis, thinking about your race strategy in Free Practice is now more important
- races are 7 miles shorter
- tweaked physics to car behaviour (better acceleration/deceleration)
- slightly increased car speed

This download of the FIRE 18 Mod from Steam Workshop contains an optional modded Assembly-CSharp.dll and txt's that you need to run it as intended.

Current features of this dll are:
- more zoom (please disable the feature "Expanded Camera" in the Video options to prevent looking through the ground)
- invisible part suppliers your team can't buy allowing individual engine offers for F1 teams
- more crashes (0-9) per race
- random failures
- bits of financial balancing
- series based age restriction (only young drivers are allowed in F2/F3, cap for F1 is at 36 years of age, the AI can't see drivers out of the age window only when they have an existing contract, however, the player is unrestricted)
- more random and more challenging part reset
- starting year is 2018
- better Simulation results and regen drivers will only appear when Drivers retire, also regen drivers have 0 potential to fit in the trait-potential system
- random max reliablity for parts between 80-100%
- spins implemented (higher chance to spin in the rain)
- lock ups and spins can happen in Quali (higher chance in the rain)
- collisions between cars have more impact on part reliability
- vanilla driver preference bug fixed, touring drivers can't drive in SingleSeaterSeries anymore
- breaking GMA Rules will now cost 250000 (instead of 100000) and 23 places demotion (instead of 2)
- Sponsoroffers will stay for only 1 race (vanilla 2)
- Sponsors will not longer be read from top to bottom and variance of offers is Teammarketability -1 Star (vanilla -2), resulting in the possibility to see all of the over 1900 sponsor deals and not always the same
- max crash-out amount per race is 9
