  • Updated battle entity table. Added knock back resistance 20%.

Increased upkeep from 178 to 200.
Reduced Hitpoints from 229 to 220 (3792HP to 3648HP)
Increased Leadership by +5
Increased Melee attack by +2
Reduced Melee defence by -2
Reduced melee_cp by -70

Weapon:
Increased weapon length from 1 to 3
Increased attack interval from 4 to 4,2
Reduced base weapon damage by -11
Reduced armour piercing weapon damage by -2
Reduced splash attack max attacks from 6 to 4
Reduced splash attack power multiplier from 1 to 0,8

Misc:
Updated battle_entities_tables as it was outdated.
No longer shouts "Longbeards!".
Added a minspec icon. (porthole in battle if you use 2D instead of 3D)
Cleaned up entires that shouldn't have been here.

Name: Wardens of Karak Drazh (Great Beards)
Flavor: Old and Ancient warriors, furiously eager to reclaim their hold and continue their oath to defend it against any foe.
Unlock: Lord lvl 30

Difference:
+350 cost (1150)
+75 upkeep (287)
+Uses Hammers instead of Axes (+2 base weapon damage, +6 armour piercing weapon damage, +8 charge bonus, +slightly less attack interval (4,1))
+Ability: Enrage
+Slightly larger unit model size

Severely reduced melee_cp (almost halved) and slightly reduced cdir_unit_quality.
(motive: I missed this one on my previous update for this unit. This is to reduce this unit overperforming in autoresolve.
As far as the game was concerned, this unit may have performed just as well as Hammerers, which is insane.)

Quality of Life Changes

Removed magical attacks

To compensate:
Recruitment cost is reduced by -75
Melee defence increased by +1
Weapon damage reduced by -5
Armour piercing weapon damage increased by +15
Increased mass by +50

No longer requires a secondary building to be recruited.
Updated the melee_weapon table with concistent details.
(Increased building damage, increased attack interval slightly, increased splash attacks max)

Fixed so they're now affected by the weapon strength bonus from "Grimnirs Heirs" skill".
No longer oddly affected by "Axe Lord" skill.

Removed Axe of Dargo as their weapon model.

Changed flavour text:
Old text: "Dwarfs that exceed the age of two hundred years gains the honourable title of Great beards. They're the wisest amongst the clan and are held at the highest value."
New text: "Those wisest amongst the clan and reaching the age of over 200 years are held at the highest value and become known as Great Beards."

Reduced base health from 245 to 229
Reduced create time from 2 turns to 1 turns. (was already punishing enough since you require a landmark to recruit)

Fixed splash VFX
Fixed so the unit is affected by global dwarf upkeep debuff.
Fixed so the unit is available for Karak Kadrin in custom battle.
Fixed some effects being applied that shouldn't be applied to this unit. Mostly from the Longbeard and Hammerer route.
Examples: Hammerer recruitment levels, longbeard upkeep and recruitment costs.

Added Great Beard's name to effects that applies to the unit, for further clarity.
"Call Upon Oaths of Old" and "Veterans' Pride" technologies now affect Great Beards.
