A MILLENNIUM DAWN SUBMOD: TURKISH MARCH
v0.5.0 - Atılım

New Mechanics:
- Tourism Season:
CHI, CYP, DOM, ISR, GRE, MAL, MEX, HOL, RAJ, ROM, POR, SPR, TUR, TUN, UKR and SEY will get the Tourism Season national spirit (+10% PP, -10% CG, +10% CIC) between June and September if they meet the following requirements:
* Global Tension is lower than 80%
* Stability is at least 25,
* Country is not at war,
* Country has less than 50 civilian factories.
The season will prematurely stop if one of these requirements is broken while its duration.

- Snap Election (for all nations):
A decision will enable you to trigger elections in the next 60 days if one of your ideologies has over 30% popularity at the cost of 2 stability. Can be repeated every 365 days.

- Stability Checker (for all nations):
A decision will allow you to check your actual stability flag value, not just the idea.

- Military Tutelage:
TUR gets a new National Spirit (Military Tutelage: -10% PP). A hidden idea with a -0.05%/day modifier will be applied on the communist, democratic socialist, progressive, monarchist and islamist ideologies if they have over 5% popularity. Events will pop up as the "forbidden" ideology gets an advisor nominated, reaches 20% and 30% popularity, the military pressuring you to stop the ideology.
* Removing the National Spirit: the idea is cancelled if one of the ideologies takes over.
* Prononciamento: the military will ask you to resign if:
** one of the "forbidden ideologies" reaches 35% popularity,
** your surrender progress is 80%,
** you have liberated the 3 Kurdish states and the ensuing Kurdistan isn't your puppet,
** your stability falls below 15.
* Post-modern coup: if you accept to resign, the ruling party will be replaced by one of the mainstream (conservative, social democrat, social liberal, market liberal) parties and elections will be held in 30 days.
* Coup: Unless you resist (civil war versus reactionary ideology, strength 0.7), the reactionary party is renamed "National Security Council" and becomes the ruling party with 100% popularity. TUR gets the Military Junta national spirit (20% drift defense, -20% trade opinion, -20% enemy partisan efficiency, -20% foreign subversive activities efficiency, -20% opinion gain, -20% PP). Depending on the year, the historical Chief of Staff becomes the country ruler, and elections are banned.
** Post-coup referendum: 720 days after the coup, you will get the option to restore democracy on the military's terms. If you accept, political popularities for all parties except monarchist, islamist, communist, demsoc, progressive and reactionary are restored (32 for market liberal and conservative). 30 days later, the reactionary party reverts to its default name.

- Turkey-PKK-Conflict: the Kurdish Separatism national spirit is expanded, triggering a set of random events based on the current conflict between Turkey and the Kurdish separatist/autonomist armed group called PKK, designated as Separatist Terrorist Organization by Turkish officials and in country events.
* Cancelling the National Spirit: You have to release the states of Malatya, Van and Erzurum without puppeting them. You will regain the spirit if you retake them.
* PKK Ceasefire: the game starts with a unilateral ceasefire from the PKK, blocking some of the more damaging events. The ceasefire may be broken if:
** you execute Abdullah Öcalan (historical event), adding a modifier making PKK events 50% more likely for 2000 days (they'd be angry).
** you launch a counter-terrorist operation (event choice) in a state,
** your government is fascist, monarchist, islamist or nationalist,
** if by June 2004 you still have the Kurdish Separatism national idea (historical)
* PKK Events:
** Most events have a 10% chance of increasing or decreasing progressive influence, 20% chance of decreasing stability. Bombing events decrease stability by 1 and have a 50% chance of decreasing progressive influence by 1.
** Random PKK events are either state based (their likelihood depends on the attributes of Sivas, Malatya, Van, Erzurum, Haseke, Iraqi Kurdistan and Eastern Kurdistan (if under TUR control), or are global.
** Modifiers and PKK events: the following modifiers increase (good) or decrease (bad) the MTTH of PKK events.
** National modifiers:
*** Country is at war: -20%
*** Stability: +60% to -60% if high or low stability,
*** +100% to -60% if high or low Progressive popularity (the more popular Progressives are, the less likely the PKK will resort to violent actions)
*** -50% if Öcalan has been executed (event)
*** +200% if Iraqi Kurdistan has been bombed
*** +1000% if the PKK's Qandil camps have been destroyed (event)
** State modifiers
*** -50% to +50% if infrastructure low or high,
*** -50% to +100% depending on number of deployed military divisions in the state (WARNING: the more divisions you have, the more likely city bombing events will happen)
** PKK events come with these frequent choices:
*** Do nothing (issue condemnation): ruling party popularity loss.
*** Arrest suspected sympathizers: costs 10 PP, has 20% of decreasing progressive influence by 1, 20% of decreasing stability, 25% of getting -25 opinion from all countries with a democratic government.
*** Start a local counter-terrorist operation: costs 10 PP, adds a flag stopping almost all PKK activity in the state for between 30 to 90 days.
*** Bomb Northern Iraq: costs 25 PP, adds a modifier decreasing the likelihood of all PKK events for 60 days. Iraqi Kurdistan gets 1 infrastructure damage, -25 opinion modifier with the owner of the state and Kurdistan if it exists.
*** Operation: Burning Candle: if you control Iraqi Kurdistan, you get the option to destroy the PKK's camps in the Qandil Mountains if you keep at least 3 divisions posted there for ca. 365 days. Success will greatly reduce the likelihood of PKK attacks (see modifiers) for 720 days, but won't eliminate them outright.

* the Economic Crisis:
Turkey's February 2001 economic crisis is avoidable if your number of factories and stability are above 50 before February 2001 (if you took the IMF standby agreement) or November 2000 (otherwise). If you get the event and National Spirit (+10 CG, -20 MIC and CIC), you can get rid of it by raising your factories and stability to 60 (only 50 stability if Kemal Dervis is in your government)

* Supreme Military Councils
Every year on the first week of August, your starting generals will gradually retire, replaced by generals added by the Modern Generals mod (more befitting of the 2016 start) according to their historical dates of retirement and accession to high command (2 or 3-star general). Feature not complete.

New Events:
- Historical events:
The following historical events have been added:
* IMF standby agreement, 2000,
* the Case of Abdullah Öcalan: postpone or order his execution?
* Galatasaray's 2000 UEFA cup victory (event chain),
* the Case of Fethullah Gülen (info on trial)
* Secret Memo scandal revealed,
* the election of President Sezer,

- Historical party and ruler changes:
* CHP congress: Baykal or Öymen?
* The fate of the Islamist movement: only Saadet Partisi or AKP created?
* Rise of the AKP: primary conservative party or not?
* a Communist Party for Turkey: maoist EMEP or stalinist TKP?

New Advisors:
- Custom advisors for Turkey, based on its political landscape in 2000. Ideologues are significant, non-leader personnalities of their party/movement. Some advisors are ministers of the coalition government ruling at the time (social liberal, nationalist, market liberal), non party advisors are significant people corresponding as much as possible to their trait. Your mileage may vary.
- Some custom-named military advisors added. Still WIP.

New Music:
- Turkish Custom Content for Stellaris: Turkish Republican Music has been fully ported over, featuring 32 marches of the Turkish military.
- Election anthems for most parties (1999 or 2002) added.
- 6 Ottoman Mehter Band s
