now i understand, getting mom on the squishiest hero in the game is great idea, because when u activate it u take 30% extra damage, not like they are going to almost 1 hit kill u

MoM, typical noob build...

The difference I'm aiming at is that, imo, sniper is only kind of viable in a split push line-up, in which case you should always get a desolator. And MoM just makes you die even faster. Also wards are never everywhere. Especially if you're split pushing, which is always a tricky situation. And of course you are right about play styles, but without MoM you might still have a chance to get out with shadow blade, while with MoM, that will get a lot harder.

By the way, sniper is never viable in the current meta with roaming supports, nyx as a tier 1 pick, etc. so that's that, there's not much you can do about it :p

@jeten and you think that sniper with desolator instead of MoM can survive with Nyx, Tinker or some other hero that can go on for awhile like this ? This guide is about attack speed to deal more headshot with the kill and not about 100% survival ablity. if the intermediate skilled players is in a spilit push while Nyx or tinker isnt there to kill sniper ? and why isnt there sentry ward to see invisible heroes ? And liked i state on the other comment. Every player or person got their style of playing Sniper feel free to change MoM to Desolator in your preference. =)

and what you state is good that need level shrapnel for vision. Only if the teammate doesnt even bother to ward the area.

You're quite arrogant to get MoM on one of the most squishy heroes in the game. Any smart team will burst you down instantly if you dare toggle it on. And they will have vision, so good luck with that shadow blade. The only way I see a sniper succeeding in a game with intermediate skilled players is in a split push line up with desolator after shadow blade and crystalys, then into daedalus. In that case you also need to level shrapnel for tower pushing AND vision for incoming ganks.

Nyx assassin on the other team? bye sniper. tinker on the other team? bye sniper. I could go on for a while like this, especially if you think MoM is viable.
