Crackling Audio Fix

Reformatted and your audio is still crackling in Fallout 4, Did it just start crackling? Well I did figure out a way to fix it! It may not work for everyone but it did work for me! It's also super easy! The problem seems to be with a Windows update not handling enhancements correctly and destorts audio.

Step 1: Find The Audio Icon On The Task Bar

Step 2: Right Click the Sound Option and Click "Troubleshoot Sound Problems"

Step 3: Select the Audio Device You Use For Sound Ingame.

[In my case that would be the Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma]

Step 4: Select "No, Do Not Open Audio Enhancements"

Step 6: Let windows Do It's Thing, It Will Detect The Problem.

Step 7: After It Detects The Problem, Restart!

[Next windows should look like this, I did it with another sound thing I had plugged in just to get the window as a reference. It will ask you to restart on the bottom to fix the issue]

Step 8: Done!

There are tons of chances that Windows will disable all enhancements you have set to your device on the Windows side of it. If you have Razer Synapse, or any other control panel for seperate peripherals it shouldn't mess with anything. May need to reset it for HD Audio Drivers and Generic drivers. I would test to make sure it fixes your issue before you dabble in re-applying the audio enhancements if you want them again.

[Optional] Playback Devices

Go into playback devices and disable everything you are not using, this can fix more problems than even just the Fallout 4 bug sometimes.

hey i just wanna ask, im doing a modded save rn and the vault elevetoer was bugged, i got past that but now every interior is playing the vault starting one with the life pods turning off stuff, do you know any fixes for it?

Yay thanks I was noticing the problem in this game and arma 3. I wonder if it fixed arma 3. Ill go check
