NiGHTS into dreams... Achievement Guide

This is a guide showing how to get every Achievement in the game.
A lot of the achievements in this game are pretty self explainitory but I'm still going to make this... just because.
I do not take ownership of this guide. Credit to JaxTH from XboxAcehievements, if they want me to remove this guide I will.

the IDEAL

Clear Spring Valley in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS.


Spring Valley is the first Dream for Claris. The boss of this Dream is the dragon Gillwing. You will unlock the achievement after your overall score has been displayed after the boss battle.

This can be done in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS

the POSSIBILITY

Clear Mystic Forest in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS.


Mystic Forest is the second Dream for Claris. The boos of this Dream is the fish Gulp. You will unlock the achievement after your overall score has been displayed after the boss battle.

This can be done in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS

the CONFUSION

Clear Soft Museum in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS.


Soft Museum is the third Dream for Claris. The boss of this Dream is a first class Nightmaren named Jackle. You will unlock the achievement after your overall score has been displayed after the boss battle.

This can be done in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS

the AFFECTION

Clear Splash Garden in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS.


Splash Garden is the first Dream for Elliot. The boss of this Dream is Puffy. You will unlock the achievement after your overall score has been displayed after the boss battle.

This can be done in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS.

the CONSCIOUSNESS

Clear Frozen Bell in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS.


Frozen Bell is the second Dream for Elliot. The boss of this Dream is Clawz. You will unlock the achievement after your overall score has been displayed after the boss battle.

This can be done in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS

the REVIVAL

Clear Stick Canyon in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS.


Stick Canyon is the third Dream for Elliot. The boss of this Dream is Reala, basically NIGHTS but edgy. Anything you do Reala can do as well. You will unlock the achievement after your overall score has been displayed after the boss battle.

This can be done in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS

the GROWTH

Clear Twin Seeds in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS.


To unlock this Dream you must have at least an overall C ranking for both Claris' and Elliot's Dreams. It is the fourth and final Dream for both Claris and Elliot that hinges between dreams and reality. The boss of this Dream is the final boss, Wizeman the Wicked.
When you finish a Mare, you won't be given more time like in other Dreams so watch your timer or else you'll get a Night Over. You will unlock the achievement after your overall score has been displayed after the boss battle.

Clear all stages with a score of Rank A.

I recommend trying to get the ideyas as soon as possible on each mare, then do laps around the level getting bonus points for as long as you can without the timer running out. Try to get as many links as you can and don't skip out on any potential points.

As long as you get As or Bs, you should be in the clear. If you get a C at all I recommend resetting unless you get a really good time on the boss.

During the boss fights, try to finish them as fast as you can, the faster you beat them, the higher the multiplier to your score will be.

DREAMY !!!

Show your supreme skill by achieving the highest Acrobat Time rating, "DREAMY".


To start Acrobat Time, you must fly through the blue and yellow rings that are in the Dream. Once you do this, a yellow trail will form behing you and must do tricks for more points. Pulling off 11+ combos will get you the "DREAMY" rating. this is best done in Spring Valley Mare 3 or Mystic Forest Mare 3.

To pull this off, push yourself against a ceiling and start tapping the trick buttons (LT and RT, idk what the keyboard controls are, as far as I know this game doesn't work on keyboard) rapidly but alternatively to watch the score from your tricks skyrocket. Pressing both trick buttons at once will make you immediately stop and cancel the stream from the trick ring, so be careful.

This can be done in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS

Paraloop Master

Try to Paraloop all of Gillwing's tail in one hit.


Gillwing is the dragon boss of Spring Valley, which is the first Dream of Claris. If you attack Gillwing from the front you will destroy his head, which will grow back until he runs out of segments of his tail. By paralooping the end of his tail he will instantly be defeated (21 links). Do this fast enough and you will 2.0 the boss and get lots of points added to your total. If you mess up then just highlight the level from the Dream Select and press X to be taken to the boss after beating the Dream.

Mystic Garage

Try to guide the lost car in the Mystic Forest to the garage.


In Mare 4 of Mystic Forest, you will soon come to a maze that will switch the view to a top down perspective. As this happens, you will see a red car moving about. This red car is actually following your movements, fly straight and you will go through a spike ring followed by coming upon a green garage. Circle around the green garage and the car will make its way into it, followed by a little kingle. You will get the achievement afterwards.

Hello Mepian

Witnessed the hatching of Mepian.


A Mepian is the offspring of a Nightopian and a Nightmaren. when you latch onto a Nightmaren you will start to spin in a circle with it so you can launch it whatever direction you please. If it hits a Nightopian they will leave an egg behind and a Mepian will be inside. The achievement will unlock while in the Dream after a Mepian egg is made.

This can be done in either BRAND NEW DREAMS or SEGA SATURN DREAMS

Clear Spring Valley (Christmas).


To unlock Christmas NiGHTS you must first finish all Dreams. After that, Christmas Dreams will be located on the Main Menu. Pick either Claris or Elliot and then get started. You will unlock the achievement after your overall score has been displayed after the boss battle. Beating the level afterwards as the other child will unlock the Nightopian Collection on the Main Menu.

I remember defeating Gilwing by paralooping just the end of his tail, not his whole tail.
