A working 3-7-0 Strikerless system for 17.3 patch developed live on stream with the community. If you want to get involved in the process, join us at

After initially trying to build a 3-4-3, we tried it without traditional strikers and discovered this system. High Possession football. High up the pitch centrally waiting for a mistake from the other team and capitalising on that with a through-ball or cut back from the byline.

Shadow Strikers require High Physical Stats, Aggression, Workrate and Longshots. Go for Gets Forward Whenever Possible and Arrives Late in Box. Shoots from Range and Shoots with power also good.

Over 2 years of testing. Newcastle reached the Champions League final, Won the League cup twice and are close to the Euopa League final and a top 4 finish.

Worked with this tactic on 23 mediocre and lower league teams across Europe. Most of them won the title or promoted, all of them overperformed. So a huge "thank you" for that.

Premier league title 3 years in a row with Liverpool, plus two FA Cups, two league cups and a europa league trophy. This tactic is insanely good.

Rediculous tactic!! I've used it from day 1 with Maidenhead Utd and only tweaked the set pieces to suit my players. Back to back league wins and about to start 20/21 season in the championship.....The only problem I have is that I'd rather the IWB crossed more than shot themselves but then I'd be winning games by 5 or 6 goals...great work.

I went a man down in the Europa league as a Dutch team. Switched to this tactic. Scored 3 goals. Against Man City. I was amazed.

This tactic has helped my Austria team get results they have no right to achieve, with some great goals scored too!

What does Trump have to do with this tactic?

The best thing about this tactic is the beautiful team goals you get. I got 3, almost 4, players with 20 goals this season and almost all of them come from quick passes around the box or smart through balls. You get so much room at the top, it's insane!

Second game, home, against Club Brugge. Easy game as they got many players out with injuries. Won 3-0 with several rotations in the team.
Third game, away at Camp Nou, Barcelona!
I honestly thought this would be the game I would get pummeled, barely winning against United, full Barcelona squad (Messi, Neymar, Suarez, Busqets... the lot). 23 minutes played and disaster! Red Card to one of my young strikers (2nd yellow). Then in the 27th minute, GOAL foz r ME! I scored at Camp Nou with one less man. Then again in the 70th minute, 0-2, I can't believe this! Ended up winning 0-2 and it was deserved looking at statistics.
3 games in the CL group stage and won all 3, played the 2 best teams away. Now I'm imagining where this can end, could I really win the CL with this tactic- with such a small club?
