Lae Atoll

Description
Lae Atoll
This map is based on Lae Atoll of the Marshall Islands, see wikipedia[en.wikipedia.org]. No height map was available, so I terraformed it by hand, hence the slightly different islets.

Lae is part of the Railik Chain, north of the equator in Micronesia. The original population is just about 350.



Details
There is dense vegetation of shrubs and cabbage trees, healthy coral reefs and abundant seagrass beds.

Find the hidden bunkers from WW2 :)


It has ship and airline connections. No roads, no railways!

I recommend using Strictoasters great Seenu Theme and LUT.

I tried to play it but the game crashed. Maybe my pc can't handle this many mods and assets already:/

Yeah, I noticed that too... water behaves quite strange sometimes :/

I can recommend using Extra Landscaping Tools, and carefully raising sea level:

After playing a while, the water level went down and it messed up the islands and it looked bad. is there a way to fix this?

I started at 0 (nothing unlocked except basic roads, electricity and water). No harbors, no airports. Demand as usual at start. Houses were built but nobody appeared (I mean they have no options to come in and can't teleport/spawn ^_^). And I don't wan't to have everything unlocked at the start ._. But TIL that you need outside connections to get inhabitants, but how, when you have nothing at start? Worth a disclaimer maybe? You know a mod which allows inhabitants to spawn? Probably the best solution I can think of...

Hmm that's strange, I've played it yesterday and had no issues. Playing with a lot of mods though.

Is there enough residential demand? Do you have electricity, water, schools, police etc.? Do you have a harbour/airport? If so, do you have tourists in your city?

I'd like to play this map, but I won't get any inhabitants (yes, houses were already built) :/
