Bananasaurus Rex

"She's a banana first and a dinosaur second. But it's a close second."

And now for something completely different. Out for download now is the adorable Bananasaurus Rex from Plants vs. Zombies Heroes! She comes with sliders to close or open her eyelids, along with two other sliders to make her look grumpy or sad. The limbs can detach from the body in order to replicate her defeated animation. Also included is two skins for her tongue - the yellow tongue seen in the final game, or the red tongue visible in the trailer for the game.

She will initially spawn with her eyelids closed. This is because I had to set up the sliders for the upper and lower eyelids as two-way controls as the eyelids were clipping far too much into the eye, and I found I had to push the eyes too far into the head as the eyelids shut as a regular flex. So this was the next best thing.

This would be the first time assembling anything resembling a dinosaur head for me, so it was an interesting model to put together. It was also a fun chance to try my hand at texturing something a little more organic.
