When you make a mistake, ctrl-z is your friend, ctrl-z=undo ;)

Just double left click on the trigger in the 3d view and you can edit it all you want, even make it a different entity.

But what if I need to edit the outputs and stuff on a trigger? is there another way to edit it?
nintendo.erk Aug 27, 2017 @ 3:15pm
Oh btw, the weapon strip needs to be set to kill the weapon, it isn't by default.
nintendo.erk Aug 27, 2017 @ 3:12pm
Uhm, don't press ctrl-t with triggers selected. It changes the entity. once it's a trigger leave it alone ;)
It's a monoportal map right? so we need the blue only gun. If you want the dual gun you won't need the weapon strip and clientcommand.

Okay, one last question, when I press ctrl+t usually my triggers and brushes become a fun_detail even if I already set up a bunch of stuff for it and name it, it really messes with me, what can I do to preent this?
nintendo.erk Aug 27, 2017 @ 3:07pm
By default a brush is a world brush, ctrl-t ties it to an entity, func_detail by default. You can change that to any brush entity, you need trigger_weapon_strip so select that. Really do use trigger_weapon_strip and not player_weaponstrip because the latter doesn't work properly in portal.

I see, ty.

Also, when you make a "brush", what kind of obect is it? Like, when you press ctrl+t it becomes a func_detail and its outline becomes green, what is it when it is white?

trigger_weapon_strip is a brush entity, use trigger texture for it.
