Quid Si - An Alternate History [Alpha 0.0.2]

Description
Quid Si?; what if? Quid Si is an alternate history mod revolving around a few events in history going a little differently than in our timeline.

This mod is mainly the result of my interest in alternate history. I am intrigued by the various heressies that popped up in Christendom and thought about making a mod revolving mainly around the Arian sect. Since such sects thriving or even surviving is not dependent on one event (as with all of history), I was forced to change the rest of the world as well! Resulting in the alternate timeline I have got going so far.

Thus far I have been working on the mod on my own, but if you have some useful skills and would like to work on the project, do let me know! If you are interested you can contact me on the forums.

NOTE: This is an early version of the mod, with various known issues. I know of most and will try to make a list of known issues, but if it doesn't show up please let me know.

The revamped map is completely done by the people behind Ibn Battuta's Legacy(+):

I implore you all to give me some feedback, I would be most apreciative :D

Known Issues:

-King of Alemannia married to man
-Flags freaking out
-Localisation freaking out

Work for Next Patch:

Changes

Characters:
-Adding Dynasties to all top tier rulers
-Adding rulers over all counties of the world
-Adding wives and children for most characters (mostly very small, insignificant rulers don't have a family).
-Changing up India, could've left this as is since Paradox basically made up rulers here as well, but I have a few interesting things in mind here.

Cultures:
-Replace Maghrebi and Egyptian with a more pre-arabic culture
-Further breakup of Iranian Culture; Khorosani, Bactrian...
-Replacing Alemanic with Suebian culture
-Cultural metling pots; See Events
-Recouloring of Cultures
-Fleshing out various Italian Cultures (Only Venetian is done)
-Removing French cultures from Latin Group and give them a seperate culture group

Decisions:
-Changing up the Formation of HRE

Events:
-Cultural melting Pots; Only catholic Lombard provinces will switch to a respective Italian culture eg. Tuscan; Roman culture will be replaced with a newer culture unless held by a strong ruler;
French cultures can still emerge, but later and not if the Franks are ruled by an HRE; Visigothic will not flip unless the province actually becomes catholic;
Egyptiot (Greek Egyptian) culture will emerge in Egypt if ruler is still Greek and provinces native Egyptian after a certain date.
-Event chain that will allow the Abbasid Caliphate to expand their power (either militarilly or diplomatically).
-An event chain that will see the decline of the Sassanid power to the eastern parts of the empire (the existing event is a placeholder for observe games, it's not very good...)

Graphics:
-Alternate flags for existing countries, new flags for Visigothia, Vandalia and Egypt as these are placeholders.
-Make some custom Coats of Arms graphics that will look nice and more fleshed out than vanilla's
-Expanding "Historical" Coat of Arms

Localisation:
-Alemannia will be renamed to Swabia, alemannia and suebia are the same thing. Alemannia is an exonym.
-Finding a more appropriate naming for Nestorian Christianity

Map:
-Map overlay: The political mapmode in CKII makes the world look really bland and there's almost no telling apart of similar colours.

Titles:
-Complete revamp of titles, I am somewhat aware of what causes flags to glitch out and how to fix it (This messes up localisation as well).
-More recouloring, even vanilla does a poor job of properly colouring the world in interesting ways in my opinion so loads of titles will have different couloring.
-Adding back in Empries and finding a more elegant solution of not having de Jure Empires everywhere enabled
-Events for the dynamic name changing of titles held by certain cultures
-Renaming France and Lotharingia to Neustria and Austrasia respectively

Provinces:
-Fixing Khojand not being owned by anybody
-Further changes to Cultures and Religions of provinces

Religions:
-Societies specifically created for Arianism
-Fleshed out religious mechanics for Arianism and to a lesser degree Donatism
-Fleshing out the Arab Pagan Religion, and a proper Reformed version of the faith.

As y'all pointed out, the mod has been discontinued for a long time.
However, with the new dlc on the horizon, I was motivated to go through the painstaking work to root out all sort of conflicting files to even get it running again.
This has been succesful and work on the mod has been continued.
