This is a terrain map based off the Mos Eisley height map from Star Wars Galaxies. The street terrain is approximately to scale with the models from my SWG model pack from earlier: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=914875671

Though the street layout is for Mos Eisley, it could be used for anything. The map was rendered in HDR, nearly complete darkness with a black skybox, to have complete control of the lighting for scenebuilding.

It has a skyportal area roughly about 12,000 units above the center of the map, for you to place anything in it. I highly recommend Narry's Skydome for this - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=266679748 , or any other skydome / decor you can get your hands on. Enjoy.

Anyway to have a version of the map with light entity but with the black skybox? Scene building a map version of mos eisley using your models but kinda hard when its so dark and I will be animating it which will be a pain because of the dark.

HowDoYouPlayDizGam get a skybox model and load it into the skybox, the little bit of level outside the main level boundries, and place a super powerful light in the main level

hey im kind of shit at sfm and am wondering how you make it look like daytime (this could make me look like an idiot:steamfacepalm:)

That tutorial was really great! Thanks for the tip! All bright and lighten up now! The only problem I have encountered now is that the lights don't clip through those recomended skyboxes so if I put the light to high up I get this big dark cricle due to the skybox blocking light. :o

This map is really nice, big and roomy! Though I ham having problems with lighting it up. At the moment I have 18 lights and it still looks... shady? Any tips?
