After 3 years of development, we are pleased to present our beloved map "Lythium".

Description
The map replicate the tribal areas of Afghanistan, crossed by a large valley that runs over the map. You will find two main cities, aside from the villages or smaller towns, both oriented on north and south of the map with their respective airfields. The map name comes from the main route linking those two provinces in which all the operating of the Spanish armed forces in Afghanistan took place between 2002-2015 to secure the route between Badghis and Bala Murghad.

Characteristics
  • Two airports with ther respective bases located at North and South.
  • The main base "Regimiento44" has it's own training camp.
  • Four towns at Northwest, Southeast and South where you can enjoy as well.
  • Five main valleys all around the map.
  • Road network interconnected throughout the map.
  • Three little FOBs located into the North and central zone.
  • Many small rural areas and villages spread over several points of the map.
  • And many things to be discovered...

Author notes
Pay special attention when patrolling in the north of the map, it is quite dangerous ... :)

Beautiful looking map, quite unplayable with AI. The simply ignore walls and buildings, vehicles spawn in the wrong places and explode.
You should consider a re-index!

This map is truly beautiful and would be my favorite if it was actually playable. But with the AI seeing and shooting through walls and ceilings and non-functional doors its no fun. I really hope this will get fixed, the map deserves it.
Oh and theres a FOB like every 500m and the two main bases are way too big for the scale of operations that can be played in Arma.

For Example in Doran, the big new square building, the AI shoot through the walls. Very annoying

Turns out theres quite a few gamebreaking bugs on the feedback tracker AI ignore walls, no collision for some buildings, most rocks let bullets go straight through.

all easily abused by players.

Is there any chance you can fix the runways and taxiways? They're not flat and you will constantly bounce while moving across them.
