Superior Junction

Description
SRTM Data map of Lake Michigan, then modified the landscape. A fantasy-map made from real satellite data, Superior Junction uses the town/city names from the area, many of which are Native American Indian names. 32 towns start the map. 6145 x 6145 makes the rail-lines long and short. The industry mod subscription is a must.
Experimental map sizes must be enabled to use this map.
**This map is extra large and you need to turn-on big maps in your settings.lua file. experimentalMapSizes = true
Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\"userid"\446800\local in that local folder is the settings.lua file.
Best played with the Vegetation Increase and Industry placement mods.
Don't forget to rate my maps...also check out my Workshop for other maps thanks

The large-size I am still messing with and then fix all the files, should be up later today.

Today I have made a medium and Large size of this map they both have auto-industry enabled and the large will also have a no-industry map, but the medium will be all auto-industry.

@Kywalker, yes I saw and subscribed to your mod. For it to be used in the map files, it might take some digging. I will look into that, might be a good answer for the over-sized maps and random industry placement.
@Hammie, I have not tried to set the map for randon industry placement yet. I will give it a try and see how stable it runs with that many industries.
@Dog...thanks let me know what you think of this map.

Thank you for creating a big map without industries. I hate the way industries are ploped randomly with no logical reason what so ever.
Hammie Apr 17, 2017 @ 9:30am
is there a chance you can upload a version which randomly generates, as i love this map but i would like to have some industry on it without having to manually plog every single one?

Once again though, great map.

If you are worried about too many industries created, i made a mod just yesterday that you can use to lower their number.
