When you use this bluprint, it will create 2 separate "buildings" - one for the base and one for the turret. This allows you to easily rotate the turret separately. Also note that there is a laser range finder on the turret (to the upper left of the gun barrel) - you may want to disable the trigger setting on that so the laser displays.
