GBombs 5 - Base (Fixed)

GBombs 5 is an addon which features multiple different kinds of bombs, rockets, and nukes. Ranging from artillery shells to nukes like the Little Boy and the Tsar Bomba.

GBombs 5 Materials are required for this addon to work!

* Some nukes might generate artifacts, lighting glitches, massive amounts of lag, or game crashes. This is normal behaviour for this addon.

* Any red warnings in the console are also normal behaviour for this addon. Please only let me know if there are Lua-errors or other serious problems (missing sounds, broken sounds, etc.).

Detonator
For those wanting to use a detonator swep with this addon. I suggest using this one:

I've tested it myself and it works flawlessly with the bombs and nukes in this addon.

2023 update
A lot of you have been experiencing lua-errors with this addon. The addon has been fixed and updated by me and all these errors have been resolved. The mod is 100% functional again!
Should you find any new errors, please comment down below or send me a message on Steam to let me know. I will try to fix it as soon as possible!



How to use
You activate most bombs by pressing the use button (E by default) on the bomb, it is now armed and will detonate upon impact (dropping it from a plane for example). Weapons like tank shells and rockets will launch when pressing the use button on it.



This is only the GBombs 5 Base, install the materials too!
This is a reupload of the original deleted GBombs 5 addon, with the backdoor removed.
Please also subscribe to the materials (they have been added to the required items) otherwise this addon won't work.



Backdoor situation
As some of you know, Garry's Bombs 5 (or GBombs 5) had a backdoor implemented by the original creator[gmod.fandom.com] when it first released in 2014. This allowed the creator of GBombs 5 get admin rights on servers (which had the original GBombs 5 installed) and spawn money or other items on roleplay servers, for example. This backdoor has been removed from this, and most (dare I say all) other reuploads of this addon on the Steam Workshop.

Can you try reinstalling the addon and double checking if you don't have any older/other versions (by other users on Steam) installed? I've removed that line of code a while back so it shouldn't be giving errors. I'm also not experiencing any errors myself.

Got this when trying to use the exothermic bomb, endothermic bomb, anti-gravity bomb, hypersonic bomb, and supersonic bomb (I just pasted the exothermic LUA but they're all the same, when detonated nothing happens):

Do you have HL2 and CS:S installed? Sometimes that can be the issue. Otherwise try reinstalling the addon and materials. I don't experience any skin errors.

@FreakyMoose Can you check in your Garry's Mod settings that you're using the key assigned to "Use items (buttons, machines, ...)"?
Also, you have to stand pretty close for the bombs to arm. You'll hear a slight beepbeep when it's armed successfully.

If that doesn't work then please check if you don't have any other versions of GBombs 5 installed (from another user on the Workshop for example) and if you are subscribed to the materials. You can also try re-installing the addon.

The bombs wont get armed when i press "E" as far as i know i havent changed anything if that is default
