Voici un guide vous expliquant comment patcher automatiquement Borderlands 2 afin d'utiliser le « community patch ».
Celui-ci inclus de nombreux ajouts comme le ramassage automatique de l'eridium, de nouveaux drops sur certains enemis, des améliorations sur certaines armes...

[FR] Etapes

• 0. En cas de mise à jour à partir d'une ancienne version, il suffit simplement de remplacer le fichier « Patch.txt » avec le nouveau.
  
  
• 1. Faire une sauvegarde du fichier « Borderlands2.exe » se trouvant dans le répertoire : « Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Borderlands2 \ Binaries \ Win32 » au cas où.
  
  
• 2. Télécharger/Copier le fichier « Patch.txt (< clic !)[github.com]» dans le dossier « Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Borderlands2 \ Binaries » (et non dans Win32) ».
  
  
• 3. Télécharger le fichier « BL Hex-Multitool .NET 4.5.zip (< clic !)[github.com]» et extraire le contenu dans un dossier de votre choix.
  
  
• 4. Lancer ensuite « BorderlandsHexMultitool.exe » puis :
  
  
  • Cliquer sur « Setup Filepaths » tout en haut à gauche.
    
    
  • Renseigner les chemins pointant vers les exécutables de Borderlands 2 et/ou TPS en cliquant sur le(s) bouton(s) correspondant(s) « Select Path » tout à droite.
    
    
  • Le(s) icône(s) associée(s) vont alors se débloquer. En cliquant dessus pour la première fois, il vous sera alors demandé si vous souhaitez appliquer le « Console Patch ». Accepter puis fermer l'application (sauf si vous souhaitez appliquer d'autres modifications).
  
  
• 5. Ouvrir le fichier « WillowInput.ini » se trouvant dans le dossier « Mes Documents > My Games > Borderlands2 > WillowGame > Config » avec un bon éditeur de texte (pas avec le bloc-notes de Windows ; Notepad++[notepad-plus-plus.org] est le plus approprié.
  
  
• 6. Aller à la section [Engine.Console] (à partir de la ligne 124 par défaut) , éditer la ligne ci-dessous afin d’attribuer une touche à la console développeur et sauvegarder la modification. Exemple (ligne 125) : ConsoleKey=F5 « F5 » sera alors attribué à l’affichage de la console.
  
  
  
  
• 7. Lancer le jeu ; une fois arrivé au menu principal, appuyer sur la touche défini ci-dessus, taper la commande « exec patch.txt » et appuyer sur « ECHAP » pour fermer la console.
  
  
• 8. Sauf affichage d’un message d’erreur, le patch est appliqué pour la session de jeu en cours : il faudra refaire l’étape 7 à chaque redémarrage du jeu pour profiter des changements (la flèche du haut affiche en principe les anciennes commandes, pas besoin de retaper).

• 0. Updating from an old version? Just replace your « Patch.txt » with the new one.
  
  
• 1. Make a backup of the « Borderlands2.exe » file in the directory : « Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Borderlands2 \ Binaries \ Win32 » in case.
  
  
• 2. Download/Copy the « Patch.txt (< click!)[github.com]» file to the « Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Borderlands2 \ Binaries » folder (and not in Win32) »
  
  
• 3. Download the « BL Hex-Multitool .NET 4.5.zip (< click!)[github.com]» file and extract its content to a folder of your choice.
  
  
• 4. Next, start « BorderlandsHexMultitool.exe » and then:
  
  
  • Click on « Setup Filepaths » located in the top left corner.
    
    
  • Fill out the field(s) corresponding to the game(s) you want to patch by clicking on the button(s) « Select Path » on the far right.
    
    
  • The corresponding icon(s) will then unlock. You will then be asked if you want to apply the « Console Patch » by clicking on them for the very first time. Agree then close the application (unless you want to apply more modifications).
  
  
• 5. Open the « WillowInput.ini » file in the folder « My Documents> My Games> Borderlands2> WillowGame> Config » with a good text editor (not with Windows Notepad) Notepad++[notepad-plus-plus.org] is the most appropriate.
  
  
• 6. Go to the [Engine.Console] section (starting at line 124 by default), edit the line below to assign a key to the developer console and save the change. Example (line 125): ConsoleKey = F5 « F5 » will be assigned to the display of the console.
  
  
  
  
• 7. Start the game; Once you have reached the main menu, press the key defined above, type the command «exec patch.txt » and press « ESC » to close the console.
  
  
• 8.Unless an error message is displayed, the patch is applied for the current game session: you will have to repeat step 7 each time the game is restarted to take advantage of the changes. The top arrow displays the old commands, no need to retype).

• [Q] Lorsque je rentre la commande « exec patch.txt », celle-ci se transforme en « say exec patch.txt » et se contente d'afficher « exec patch.txt » sur le chat du jeu.
  
  [R] La commande « exec » nécessite d'avoir accès à la version "développeur" de la console, bridée par défaut; si elle n'est pas reconnue et se transforme en « say », c'est que l'étape 4 de ce guide n'a pas été réalisée correctement. Il faut donc récupérer l'exécutable original (normalement sauvegardé à l'étape 1) et le ré-éditer en suivant les indications de la 4ème étape.
  
  
  
• [Q] Lorsque je rentre la commande « exec patch.txt », j'obtiens l'erreur suivante : « Unrecognized class or object Transient.SparkServiceConfiguration_6 ».
  
  [R] Le patch se base sur les derniers correctifs publiés par Gearbox, récupérés sous forme de hotfix et chargés automatiquement en mémoire à chaque lancement du jeu. Cela signifie que l'application du patch ne peut se faire que si le jeu est connecté à Steam.
  
  Dans le cas où Steam ou votre connexion Internet est en panne, le patch classique ne peut être appliqué et il vous faut alors utiliser le fichier « PatchOffline.txt (< clic !)[raw.githubusercontent.com]», également présent dans l'archive, en lieu et place du fichier « Patch.txt ».
  
  
  
• [Q] Comment vérifier que le patch a bien été appliqué ?
  
  [R] Deux façons rapides de s'en assurer :
  • toutes les armes perlées ont un nouvel habillage; si vous en avez dans votre inventaire, la différence devrait normalement sauter aux yeux
    
  • approchez-vous de barres d'eridium; si le patch a bien été appliqué, elles devraient se ramasser automatiquement

• [Q] When I enter the command « exec patch.txt », it transforms itself into « say exec patch.txt » and simply displays « exec patch.txt » as a text message on the chat section.
  
  [A] The « exec » command requires a developer access to the console, restricted by default; if it's not recognized and transforms itself into « say », that's because the 4th step of this guide wasn't followed properly. You need to retrieve the backed-up file from the 1st step and reapply the modifications specified in the 4th one.
  
  
  
• [Q] When I enter the command « exec patch.txt », I get the following error: « Unrecognized class or object Transient.SparkServiceConfiguration_6 ».
  
  [R] The patch relies on the latest hotfixes published by Gearbox, loaded into the memory each time you launch the game. This means you have to be connected to Steam if you want to apply the patch.
  
  If Steam or your Internet access is down, the classic version of the patch cannot be applied and you'll have then to use the file « PatchOffline.txt (< click!)[raw.githubusercontent.com]», also available in the archive provided, instead of « Patch.txt ».
  
  
  
• [Q] How do I know the patch was properly applied?
  
  [A] Two easy ways to check:
  • all pearlescent weapons have a new skin; if you have some in your inventory, you should notice the difference immediately
    
  • get close to some eridium bars; if the patch was properly applied, they should be retrieved automatically

bonjour quand j'écrit "exec patch.txt" ça m'écrit a la ligne du dessous "can't find file '..\..\binaries\patch.txt' ". Quelqu'un peut m'aider s'il vous plais.

Attention, BL Hex-Multitool .NET 4.5.zip contient un cheval de troie (virus). Je l'ai fait analyser pas diverses logiciels et site web. Si vous l'avez téléchargé mais pas exécuté, rien de grave il faut juste le supprimer sinon utilisés des logiciels tiers pour le supprimer.

@lucky luke: je viens de tester avec les dernières versions du jeu, du logiciel pour modifier l'exécutable et du patch, cela fonctionne très bien.

Cela signifie donc, comme l'indique la FAQ, que tu as fait une erreur dans l'étape 4.

Par ailleurs, nul besoin de réinstaller le jeu si tu fais une sauvegarde de l'exécutable, vu que c'est le seul fichier modifié =)

bonjours, je suis presque sur d'avoir tout fait correctement mais le problème que je rencontre est que une fois que j'écris "exec patch.txt" cela me met say j'ai regarder la faq desinstaller mon jeu puis réinstaller mais rien a faire, pouvez vous m'aider???

EpicGames, ou Steam, la procédure pour installer le patch de change pas, il y a juste l'emplacement des fichiers qui sont sans doute différent
