Six Flags New Orleans. The restoration of an abandoned park.

Description
Back in 2005 Hurricane Katrina effectively killed off Six Flags New Orleans, or (Jazzland). I have restored the park in Planet Coaster as accurately as the game allows.

Check out the park, ride the six coasters. Check out Cajun Country, Mardi Gras, or Looney Tunes Adventures.

The park features all but just two of the original park rides. ("Bayou Blaster" and "Tweety's Tweehouse" don't have equivalent rides in the game). Using satellite, historic, and current photos as reference, each area was recreated in the game with painstaking detail.

"SimEx Pirates" and "Jocco's Mardi Gras Madness" are meant to be dark rides, check them out at night. These two rides use some artistic licence. Sorry "SpongeBob Squarepants" the ride was restored to its pirate history.

Relive a park which has been closed for a decade.

This feels like the most nostalgic thing I have ever laid my eyes on. I remember shortly after Six Flags took over Jazzland, my parents took me on a surprise trip to see the new park. They told me we were "adopting a highway" and we needed to go clean it up. Went to Six Flags New Orleans instead, was not disappointed. It didn't deserve to die the way it died.

I live in the Westbank side of New Orleans, I miss going to this park. OMG to see that you did this. Is like something that felt out of the sky. Great job with this.

I just watched a documentary on this park, very sad. I wish I had millions of dollars lol I would buy it and open it back up

hehehehehehehehe... you def dont have to tell me that zap... it sure changed alot the game... and i did sort of start my ow new jazzland with it too adding some cool rides but eh... my frames.. welll thats a whole other story... 8 frames constant lol but i pumped the park full with geusts since its so big it needs alot of geusts in order to have some what realism and que's building up..

Thanks Jackson Evans, Note this part was build quite a while ago and will need some work to add changes that have been made to the game. I don't have time to go in and update it currently.

voodooxl, just subscribe to it and load it up it shows up in your workshop parks :) if you want money mode i suggest loading up the park, saving it then loading that save in park editor to set it to a park with money for more a challange in managing.. be warned tough the park is cost heavy and you need quite the computer rig to runn this park in high settings.. i generally have 20 frames with 6k geusts and a table so geust go to all rides and not only one :)

Is there a way that i can download this and play with it? This is from my home town and i spent years going to this park before it shuttered.
