The Codebreaker started life off as a specialised unit inside the Specrtum overhaul mod, now it is being brought to Long War 2.

Note: This was done in under an hour so..... have fun!

- PERMISSIONS -

Any modder is allowed to pilfer, re-use or re-upload the codebreaker icon as everything else is Pavonis Interactives and requires Long War 2.

Can this mod work with just the Perk Pack or does it require Long War 2 Mod installed?

@Ikrani you're a heretic. No,but seriously it is probably only better at hacking by 10% so it is more simply an optional variant of the specialist that could hold its own in combat if needed.

Call me a heretic, but I'm not seeing the point of this class all that much.

I mean, I definitely see the idea here, being a more combat-oriented hacking unit, but the only thing I can see to really separate it from a Specialist is the shotgun, which is interesting but also frustrating when I can't swap it out for a more long-range weapon, and the grenade perks, which invites comparisons to the Grenadier class.

What's the Codebreaker really really good at? I ask because it's possible I've just been playing them wrong.

Just to ask since I have a glut of rookies in my campaign and don't want random assignments giving me two dozen grenadiers while I wait for the GTS to slowly train a pair -- when you type MakeSoldierAClass on cheats, what is the name of this class?

i.e. MakeSoldierAClass "John Doe" ????
