Description
I'm building Berlin 1:1 and this is my first contribution to the Steam Workshop. You can check out the build progress in my Steam screenshots, or on my twitter.

The USAF 45-0951 Douglas C-47 "Rosinenbomber" sits atop the Deutsches Technikmuseum in Berlin, Germany. The plane partcipated in the Berlin airlift in 1948, bringing food, supplies, and sometimes treats (raisins, hence the nickname, chocolate, or toys that would drop by miniature parachute), to bust the Russian ground transportation blockade of West Berlin.

Adapted from a Dakota DC-3 model by Giometry E

Special shout-out and huge thanks to the community modders who have made this game an incredible experience!

Do you want a parked version, with the rear wheel on the ground?
Captain James Mar 20, 2017 @ 9:18pm
Cool! I didn't notice that, thanks for the advise... but i'll use it as a decoration on my airport entrance, on the ground ;)

For the full effect, I faked that the plane is hanging by some wires... it's the street light from GCVos pack https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=609644643 (the one in his fourth picture)

Awesome asset! Small question: what's the name of the building in the pictures?
