Rome Prevails 4TPY

Description
*The Veneti, in this picture, is Rome's Client State

My goal as a modder is simple - Improve the game as much as possible while making the least amount of changes possible. With this mod, I make only one:

- The only change this mod makes is that Rome now starts with a Non-Aggression Pact with Massalia.

NOTE: Rome receives NO BONUSES in this mod. I find giving factions buffs to be cheap and not fun.

After running several test campaigns, I found that Rome wouldn't survive nor expand because it was fighting too many wars and it's biggest contender was Massalia who would nine times out of ten, deliver the killing blow against Rome. This mod makes them start out with an NAP so Rome can focus on its other enemies.

- After 2 test campaigns going 50 turns each, I found that with this mod, Rome is much more capable of thriving and expanding than in vanilla

*COMPATIBILITY--------------------------
Unfortunately, the one this this mod does change is located in the startpos so this mod is incompatible with other mods that alter the startpos (basically any mod that changes how campaign map when you start a game. For this reason, I have uploaded both a 1Turn Per Year and a 4TPY version.

PLEASE GIVE ME FEEDBACK!
And thank you for all your support!

Hey. It’s because the Assembky Kit, the tool modders use is broken and I’m waiting for the next DLC for R2 to be released since that’s probably when the kit will be fixed

How do I use this mod?
I activate it with "no civil war" and the Unit Card mods.
And when I try to start a Grand Campaign with House of Julia, the game crashes to desktop

If other states can only loot, the PO penalty causes them to expand slower than rome.

I don't want to stop anyone from expanding. I just want Tome to actually gain some momentum and not die within the first 50 turns. This mod makes it so Rome is actually able to expand

You might want to try limiting the occupy option to only Rome. Helps stop the Greek and Barbarian States from expanding.
