This is a remake of the 11th map from the Dungeon Keeper 1 - Deeper Dungeons expansion.

Worth to mention:

Don't break down doors until you are ready to fight The Empire. The Empire minions are strong on this map.

Take heed where you dig out new lands.

Consider building a prison early on.

If you run out of gold use Bloodmoney.

10K Gold (Which DK1 is unrealistic before DK2 uses Mana), that will be Destroy Walls. Like Lightning, if you hold the mouse, it gets more powerful while sucking up more gold. Normally our imps can't dig through them, but DK2 correct them as anyone can dig, except the usual Impenetrable Rocks. And WFTO making it better and easier via the Underminer

These remakes definitely differ from the originals due to the lack of possible programming and so on, but I am glad you like the map anyway. I do remember the maps you mention as well. They were pretty intense, but you'd still have the possibility of reinforcing your walls in time to stop any tunneling heroes. Correct me if I am wrong, but I do seem to recall a spell that did cost 10K gold that would destroy any wall you would click on instantly. I forgot the name.

Luckily in WFTO, we have access to Sight of Evil, so we don't worry about digging in the wrong place. Most of all, the programming of heroes tunneling and patrolling is less likely. In DK1, reinforced walls cannot be broken down. But in DK2 & WFTO, you can, and it'll be completely IMPOSSIBLE if the programming applies to this map and we cannot defend ourselves on time. I once played this map in DK1, it's the HARDEST I ever played, 2nd being Kanasko.

I'm glad that this map is completely free from hero tunneling & patrolling.
