Mikado refers to a steam powered locomotive with defined wheel setting as follows 2-8-2 or 1D1 or 1'D1'. This is defined, set, history. But europeans did a shaenigan, they build a 2-6-2 loco or 2-6-4 and also called It mikado... Many decades later from the american original tho.

This model looks amazing but, isn't the Mikado also American?

dang, it I wish i can edit my comment, I also meant to say if the boiler, tender and wheels were a recolorable option that would make a great mod as well (having 2 different style mods that is)

given how many were different colors of this same locomotive, it would make it a nice addition to your mod (or mod collection?)

Awesome, thanks for the update. does the game let you mark a specific area of the engine to be "recolorable" ? being able to change the boiler color along with the tender would be a nice secondary option of this same mod (have 2 different mods that is)

p.s. can you choose the headlamp type on the engine? (i see in the screenshot its mounted on the boiler and in the thumb its mounted in front of the boiler)
