Moody is a floating dashboard that provides information about your colonists' moods at a glance at all times. There are five views available that you can switch between using the icons along the top. Moody is always on top but can be resized using the handle in the lower right corner and minimized with the button in the upper right.

Moody does not store any information with save games and can be enabled and disabled without affecting existing saves.

The views:
  • Summary View
  • Thought View
  • Temperature View
  • Skill View
  • Job View
  • Health View

3) I set up a quick test colony with a fresh map by using the "Spawn Full Colony" in dev mode. I only had Core and Moody running. I saw the same issues (though notably not as severe but still very noticeable). As a side note, the test colony had 30 pawns and no animals. The problem presented in the same way as it did with my real colony.

1/2 Thanks for the quick response.

1) I have a colony of 20 pawns and about 35 muffalo and boomalopes currently and it doesn't matter how many I send out on a caravan or how many caravans I have. The problem seems to be progressive. The longer the caravans are out, the worse the lag and stuttering becomes. The problem goes away immediately when I minimize the the Moody window or the caravan forms a camp or returns to the colony. For troubleshooting purposes though, I normally only have one caravan out at a time with 9 - 10 colonists with the remaining 10 - 11 colonists on the colony map.

2) The problem occurs in every view. I've tried all of them.

@Cyresnershull A few questions that will help me narrow down the problem greatly:

1) How many colonists do you have in caravans and colony maps? Specifics is best (e.g. 2 caravans one with 5 and one with 2 people, 12 colonists on colony map)

2) Which view is selected in Moody at when the performance problems occur? Or do the performance problems happen with every view? Each view only loads data for itself when open, so performance implications of each view may differ.

3) Do the performance problems occur when no other mods are enabled?

I love this mod so much, great job! Sadly I'm having an issue where i get an extreme amount of lag when I have a caravan on the world map. I can eliminate the lag buy minimizing the moody window by clicking the arrow in the top right corner of the moody window. Thanks for any assistance you may be able to provide!

Request: Can u make it more customizable? i would like the -what they do icon- of the summary tab in the job view tab.

also: the moody button on the right top should be replaceable for a small white/grey icon on the bottom right screen like the mod "Cleaning Priority" has - toggle to open.

@Ghostdog the knowledge data warnings are benign. The keybinding conflict can be fixed in the key configuration menu. Mod key settings should be at the bottom of the list.

Good news! It was a super easy fix. It looks like there was a new base window setting added for closing on <Enter> that defaulted on. Or it was always there and no one noticed until recently... Anyway, fix deployed, let me know if anything isn't working.

I want to apologize to everyone experiencing the <Enter> issue with Moody disappearing. It was so bizarre considering that I don't have <Enter> mapped to anything that I assumed without testing that it must be a weird mod incompatibility issue.

It's not. It looks like there is some base functionality the window inherits that is tied to <Enter>. I'm looking into it. No ETA at the moment.
