FPS FIX for AMD FX-CPU users!

Quick tip which helped me have fps over 20 no matter what on decent settings!

My PC has the following parts: AMD FX-4100, KBA2GTX750TI, 8GB Ram

The problem

So, some games have problems with the AMD FX Bulldozer CPU's. What kind of happens is that the game thinks the CPU is of much lower power and doesn't fully use it. I have the same problem with Saints Row 3 too. So no matter what settings you use, you have crap fps. I tried Borderlands and all low and 1024x768 and had crappy fps still.

The Solution

It's pretty simple: Orochi.CEG. Steam removed the DL link, just google it and download it from mediafire.
I stumbled upon this little tool while researching my SR III low fps issue. A Bios Update sometimes helps, too and makes Orochi obsolete. Just do what you are more comfortable with.

All you need to do is download it, unpack it to a easy to access location and run it every time before you launch the game!

When opened, a cmd window will open and after some seconds it's already finished. You can then close it and start playing. Just remember that you need to run it every time after booting up your pc.

i have had this game on two amd fx cpus iadn my normal fps is 100

it does for me and some others too. I guess you can find out by testing it yourself. If there are any problems, like a slower running system, a reboot should do the trick and return things to normal
