Deadly Weapon Tweaks

Description
I've decided to discontinue the mod as there are way better alternatives these days and not much point of using this instead. I'll still keep the mod updated for Rimworld releases, but no new mods will be patched.


The main goal of the mod is to make combat and damage more realistic without deviating too much from vanilla.

Soft requirement for 1.3 and higher - Projectile Speed Booster. You can still use the mod without it, but projectiles will move at vanilla speeds.

Safe to install on/remove from an existing save.

Notable features:
  • Most weapons do more damage and are more accurate all across the board
  • Shotguns shoot multiple pellets instead of one blast. Still done the old way, may require/add compatibility for Proper Shotguns in the future
  • Neolithic weaponry is slightly weaker
  • Melee weapons are untouched
  • Various other tweaks and changes

thanks a bunch, this has been my preferred weapon rebal due both how it handles sniper rifles and shotguns

Hi Sozzky, do you still plan on updating this mod ? If not does anyone know how a mod that does the same thing ? (outside of combat extended)

Thanks for tagging it for 1.4 and going thru the effort of patching it for a lot of other mods, its really above and beyond.

I actually like this combat mod better than other ones. I just wanted my pawns with "professional" skill level to stop missing a target 30 times.
